I bought this back earlier at the start of the year, during my ongoing mission to find good sweat-blocking deodorant that doesn't cause yellow armpit staining. To begin, I can tell you right off the bat if you're sensitive, this deodorant could probably cause a rash. I feel a slight burn after applying after I shave. This isn't atypical from conventional "gel" deodorants, but it's a red flag for me since I know some people could break out in a rash from that irritation (I used to, I grew out of it). Yellow staining? Not a problem with this deodorant. I used this a lot back at the start of the year with my nice blouses and I didn't see any yellow staining appear. Right now I'm in T-shirt mode since I'm working from home, I'm still using this deodorant, and it washes out and doesn't leave a stain on these either. So that's nice! Smell is good, very fresh. It's not distracting or "loud" by any means, so if you don't like strong smelling deodorant this should work fine. Does it de-odor? Absolutely, as long as you're not breaking a sweat. If I go through a typical workday without exercising, I smell fine. I've used Secret, and some other deodorants in the past, and by the end of the day I would need to reapply... otherwise I would smell like onions. Thankfully, as long as you are not working up a sweat, this deodorant is a one-and-done deal for the day. Does it block sweat? No... not really. This is probably the largest falter of the deodorant. If you are switching from an anti-perspirant, give it a few weeks. I found that my personal sweat output got better with time at least. That said, any kind of exercise I end up drenching my armpits, unfortunately. After that, I get smelly. I think this works fine if you are in an office environment and aren't doing anything to work up a sweat during the day... otherwise you will need to shower, rinse and reapply. I worked out at lunch, and did just that and that was functional. Generally I reapply deodorant after a workout anyways, but during the workout my armpits were like Niagara falls which I just find distracting. I may shop around and give another deodorant a shot, but I think this one is forgivable if you're like me whose primary mission is to not smell like onions during a typical workday, and also not cause yellow staining on your nice blouses. Those two issues are checked off. I really wonder if I can get the wholly trifetica of: No odor, no sweating, no staining... we'll see. I may come back.
