Great performance, but beware of porn!
This is an Anbernic 280V, and a wonderful retro emulation device! Its built well and has a decent battery for what it does (I've run it for about 5 hours playing a PS1 game). It works nearly perfect with PCE, NES, SNES, GB/GBC, GBA, Genesis, GameGear, Wonderswan, all out of the box! (You can play PS games too, but the lack of analog sticks makes some games impractical to play. If that's your jam, get an Anbernic 350 or 351 instead.) There's no HDMI output, but that's a feature the Anbernic 350 has. This is super portable, smaller than most cell phones! You'd have no problem putting this in a purse or pocket, unlike the larger 350. The OS out of box is Opendingux, but I've had success putting Rouge on it too. There's slight sound imperfections, especially in games like Tetris Attack, but otherwise excellent. There's a number of nice built-in games too, ranging from Cave Story to FreeDoom. One warning though, the SD card this seller included had porn images in it. I wanted to get something like this for my young nephews, so I'm glad I tested this first. Make sure you purge any games ending in XXX before gifting to children! That's the only major minus in an otherwise wonderful find.

Great Get Your Own SD Cards
Got it an the ui was kind of lame. So many games its hard to find the one you want to play. I got my own sd cards and put a new ui and just the games i want to play and its great. Also dont get it for your kid unless you can put your own sd cards in like i did. The ones it comes with have a couple inappropriate pictures hidden in there.TLDR great little machine, but bring your own sd cards.

Amazing system, comes with EVERYTHING you need!
The product is amazing. I have no idea what the negative reviews are about. It works perfectly, comes with EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERY SINGLE THING...The battery life is great so far, but I am not currently running it at its highest settings. The trigger placement is perfect for me, not awkward in the least.I would highly recommend this product. It’s great quality build, not cheap thrown together stuff.Get it. You won’t regret it if you know how to browse files.

Awesome for pocket
Perfect device to put in your pocket on the go. Will not do n64 or psp but ps1 and lower plays well. It's really cool to play the final fantasy series on this device as well as any other square rpg. Definitely worth the price for portable gaming. If you are looking for more power check out the retroid pocket 2+ it can emulate up to gamecube and ps2 for 100 bucks.

It’s Worthless
It does not come loaded with 5000 games - just 25. Also stopped working completely after a couple weeks. Instructions are useless. It’s a throwaway piece of junk.

A great device with a couple small draw backs.
This a nice little on the go handheld. It seems really small in the photos and it is, so I was concerned that it would be uncomfortable to play. Most of my play time is in about the 20 minute range while I'm waiting in the car and I've never found it to be uncomfortable to play. I was also worried about the placement of those shoulder buttons a worry that was somewhat justified. While your fingers rest nicely one l1 and r1 the l2 and r2 buttons are very difficult to reach to the point where I don't really want to use them. The good news is most games that this can play don't utilize them.Let's talk about games, this system runs on the open dingux platform and can run any of the older systems up to psx very well although not all psx games will run well but a great deal will. However this system has no analog sticks meaning not all games from the psx platform will be playable without them. Anything from the N64 onward is basically unplayable.Build quality, the build quality is out of this world. If nintendo themselves made this I don't think it would feel this nice in the hand. The overlay on the front of the device is metal it's made of a nice textured plastic. The buttons are not mushy or to hard just perfect. The D pad seemed great to me although that is very subjective. The screen is very, very nice, in my opinion better then other anbernic products I have owned in the past it even has a nice glass lens over the screen.Overall value for money, honestly it's a little pricey, especially when you consider that the rg351p is just a tad more expensive then this, that being said this device is very pocketable and as such it's the device I choose when I'm on the go. On the other hand missing an analog sick and the placement of the l2 and r2 shoulder buttons can make some games impossible or tough to play. It also runs the old open dingux instead of the newer emulec limiting it somewhat. That being said if this is the form factor your after then this device IS worth it.

Loaded
It’s just as described. Comes loaded with a lot of games for different systems (Genesis, SNES, NES, Gameboy and others) loaded onto an sd card. There are too many games to list but just know there are a lot!
