This brush is sturdy. This brush will last life time.

Easy to use, durable brush that doesn't pull hair
I buy horse grooming brushes for my own human, thick, 4-foot long hair. The bristles or tines are further apart than on brushes/combs made for humans. This brush got very high recs on several "best of 2021 lists" so I tried it. It is excellent: Great grip, perfect spacing of bristle/tines, never hurts or pulls, easy to clean, and works on wet or dry hair.

Great tail brush
These are great for thick tails. And the colors are great makes it easy to know who brush belongs to who.

Works well on thick manes
We'd been using mane combs and assorted brushes to get tangles out of manes and tails. Bought this brush and it solved our problem. Horses don't pull away as comb teeth snag because this brush doesn't snag easily. Buying another one for the trailer.

Love it but they wear out after a few years then the tips get pointy. This replaced my first. Feels like high quality.
