For the price of a normal clock, having such a nice design is a steal. The name Frank Lloyd Wright says it all, classy and timeless.

Love the look of this clock in our living room. We wanted a large clock that was easy to read, without looking like a classroom clock. This fits the bill perfectly. Love the quiet sweep of the second hand. Like other buyers have mentioned, the clock face is convex, so can be somewhat awkward to read when sun is shining on it.

I bought this clock based on its look and the excellent reviews because I grew tired of replacing large wall clocks far too often. Going back just 3-4 years, I started out with this clock which I loved and which is still offered here Infinity Instruments Topiary-14" Glass Wall Clock . It was the perfect size and look. I have a feeling I did this one in after a couple of years because when the battery died, I set the clock using the hands. Afterwards, I read that one should not do that but rather should always set clocks using the knob in the back. It continued to run after that abuse but kept whatever time it felt like which wasn't necessarily the correct time. I removed the battery, set the clock at High Noon in honor of Gary Cooper and hung it as fine art on a small strip of wall outside the kitchen. It looks good there and Gary would indeed be proud! The next clock I bought was also an Infinity but is no longer available here. It was cute enough but it lasted only through two batteries, just recently dying. Since I needed a clock I spent days on amazon.com narrowing my search down to this item Metal Tornado Wall Clock By Streamline and this Frank Lloyd Wright clock. I finally decided on this clock in the hope it will last a while. It also looked really smart in the photo but with the pizzazz I was looking for. Appearance wise I thought it would be flat based on the photo which of course can't be rendered in 3D. Instead, the outside metal frame curves backwards so that the clock protrudes from the frame. This changes the appearance of the clock IMO. I will not mark the clock down because it isn't my taste of flatness especially since taste is subjective and the clock is indeed classy. It is running smoothly and hasn't lost even a second since I inserted the battery noonish today. The clock looks expensive and has some heft to it. The little mechanism in the back which houses the battery and where one sets the clock looks sturdier that the other two large clocks. I like that it has a cover unlike my other large clocks. For those who don't like ticking second hands on clocks, this second hand runs continuously. I don't hear any noise at all as one would with ticking. Bulova used to be a good brand so I looked inside and outside of the box trying to find where the clock was manufactured to no avail (imports have ruined lots of good names). However, the insert that came with it did say Printed in China. Trust me, they'll find a way to let the customer know (even my toilet seat, when lifted, has a big Made in China stamped on it. Imaginel!! So, then, this clock seems to be a quality product and those looking for a different kind of sophisticated will like it, after all who can argue with an iconic Frank Lloyd Wright style. It would have suited my purposes better had it been flatter but that is subjective as I noted and has nothing to do with the mechanics, just be aware it is not as flat as it appears in the photo. It is easy to like (or dislike) a new item so if this clock gives me any trouble, I'll update my review.

I'm a lover of mechanical watches, and I first bought this in 2018 as a gift for an architect friend - I wanted a gift that encompassed both of our passions. I did not expect much since I've only ever experienced cheap wall clocks, so I was please to discover upon arrival that the clock's second hand sweeps rather than tick at 60hz. It runs very quietly as well, the ticking is almost inaudible. Very impressive for a quartz clock! As for the design, I think it's very tasteful - It's interesting enough to add a pop to any room, but neutral enough to fit in with most existing decor. The build quality is pretty impressive as well - the outer frame of the clock is metal and the brushed finishing definitely makes it look more expensive than it is. Over the past year the clock has been on the wall, barely cleaned and it still looks new - I credit this to the brushed finish of the frame, and the off white face both giving it the tastefully aged look from the get go. Because of these reasons, I ended up buying myself one a year later, and now I have bought a third one for another friend. I dunno if it's for everybody, but for the people who love interior design and watches I think this is a clear winner.
