Works great with a cheaper price than most
Works great! It was a lot cheaper than all the other ones similar so I wasn’t sure if it was going to be okay but it does the job well. It’s nice that it isn’t too heavy but still works well.

Classic design interpreted well
Kind of silly to have a rating for "lightweight" when it is a specified weight that the anchor weighs as a given part of its usefulness. (So I didn't mark any star there) The anchor is robust, and just the right size and weight to use with my 24' pontoon boat on our lake which is part of a river system. Looking forward to a long life for the anchor. It's got a very heavy galvanized coating which should keep it rust-free for the forseeable future, and works properly according to it's collapsable design, so...it's all good.

Good backup
Good backup anchor for an under 20' boat

Lunch hook for a 12' sailing/roeing dinghy
Exceedingly compact to stow, it works well enough with ten feet of chain to catch and hold under light levels of current or wind in many types of bottom but probably not always reliable enough for mooring or over night or unattended anchoring.

Exactly as advertised and good price
Exactly what I was looking for! They sell these with some nylon thread "jerk rig" and they want close to $40! With this, I can can make my own for a fraction of the price. Highly recommend these to make your own jerk rig.

Perfect for small craft in low current.
Excellent for a SUP. Get some paracord and throw this little thing overboard and it'll keep you anchored while you fish, tan, or yell at boaters who don't understand that 50 feet from shore is not a great place to be going full throttle. I got the 1.5 lbs. version, and it's almost pocket sized. If you've got a light canoe/kayak/board that you transport around often, this is a must have.

Missing the shackle pin
Shackle pin was missing right out of the box. So I haven’t tried it out yet. I contacted the manufacturer’s customer support. We’ll see how that goes. But it is a foldable anchor and you can lock it either open or closed. I bought 5 feet of chain to attach it to, so it should grab and hold bottom. I lIke the fact that it has an eye on the backside. That was you can attach a rope and float to the backside and if your anchor gets stuck, you can pull it out backwards! I might have to revise my review according to the customer service I receive, and after I actually get to use the anchor.

very good product
adding a written review and upping the rating to 5 stars because i took the anchor on a kayak trip and while i did not actually use it i did get a chance to get a good look at it, and i can say the design seems idiot proof, and simple enough to rig that anyone ought to be able to figure out how to thread the anchor rope through it so as to be able to pull it up and have it fold up as one would do so, thus preventing it from getting stuck in any obstructions on the bottom.

Doesn’t work, I used it on my kayak in the ocean and it just dragged across the ocean bed, I would recommend getting a decent one and a heavier one
