You could use these for a couple of subwoofers or a turn table. I am Bi-Amping my speakers and needed y cables to go out of my receiver and into my amps. These cables worked great, good quality at a low price. I have bought cables 5x the price and they caused noise, these are dead quite.

Double whammy
Had humming sound from polk 10inch active sub. Humming gone thanks to new y split RCA. And sub is going in standby mode now, if not used for certain length of time.
