I have used this cream for many years and it works amazing, if you use it as soon as you feel the cold sore start, you can stop it from getting ugly and even using it after it erupts it shortens the healing time significantly. Make sure to buy the tube not the pump, the pump dries out between use, the tube does not.

I’ve been using this product for years and it is still my go to for my seasonal (winter) cold sores. I use it at the very first sign of knowing one is coming and it makes the cold sore less visible (doesn’t get rid of completely) and the duration shorter. You don’t need much either - it seems expensive but you honestly don’t need to use much
