I purchased a Centrino formal shoe on 16th July 2025 from Amazon, expecting a quality product and trustworthy service. What I received instead was a shockingly poor experience. The shoes appeared to be old stock, and after a single use on 23rd July 2025, I noticed severe issues: the inner side had flapped open and the lining began to peel away. Clearly, this was not a new, quality item but rather a expired one sent by the seller. Worse still, my attempt to resolve this through Amazon customer service was met with utter disregard. Despite raising a return request within the return window and explaining the problem, the Amazon delivery executive refused to accept the return, claiming the product was “used and damaged.” Of course it was – I only discovered the damage after opening and briefly wearing the shoes! This is unacceptable. As a customer, I should not be penalized for receiving a defective, aged product. I place my trust in Amazon and its sellers to deliver new, quality goods, not old, compromised stock. Now I am left with useless, damaged shoes and my money lost. This experience is a stark reminder to check products thoroughly and to beware of sellers who offload old, faulty stock. Amazon’s support in this case was entirely ineffective. I will reconsider future purchases unless Amazon and the seller provide a genuine resolution and compensate for this loss.
