Exactly what I was looking for
Look I hate the process of priming a canvas just as much as everyone else but here are the facts.Multiple reviews state this is too watery which I disagree with, and personally I added a fair amount of water to mine (an age old trick to make the gesso self-leveling for super even coats). The opacity of the gesso is of no concern, as it is literally white paint going on a white canvas but I can confirm this gesso is white not clear as I have seen stated. With 2-3 layers and 240 grit sanding in between, I have a significantly bright ultra-white canvas that is smooth as paper. My gesso came meticulously packed and containing zero impurities or "clumps". I seen some people complaining that their layers were inconsistent and semi-translucent and well, quiet simply, that's your on fault. This stuff is A+.I'm too lazy to make my own gesso and I'm too cheap to buy the pro stuff so I was looking for a good product to bulk up on and only ordered a small quantity but I am now convinced this is the best bang for you buck and will be coming back for lots more. Highly recommend!
