Best Breakfast
I'm not a big body builder or anything. I'm just a girl that likes going to the gym. But I'm also a girl that likes donuts and tacos. I know if I have a decent breakfast, the odds of my food choices going off the rails is minimized. I have one of these for breakfast on work days. I use water and BlenderBottle Classic Loop Top Shaker Bottle, Aqua/Aqua, 28-Ounce Loop Top . When I first bought it and was putting it in the shaker bottle, it was super clumpy and I panicked that I had this big box of protein powder and it was terrible. I experimented with how I was filling the bottle and discovered the secret is putting a bit of water in the bottle (so that most of the ball is covered) then you add the protein powder then top it up with water. I also give it a vigorous full body shake which I'm sure must be entertaining to watch. I recognize I could easily scoop out protein powder from a container in the morning however I am not a morning person. Having this pre-measured in a packet is so handy. Sometimes it is worth it to pay for convenience. Overall, I really enjoy the chocolate flavour. I'd like to try the vanilla but I'm scared I won't like it. Ha! The chocolate doesn't have a fake taste like other protein powders do. It's rich and thick. I also love the added vitamins. I drink it on my drive to work around 7:15 am and I start getting hungry for lunch around 11-ish so it keeps me full for a while. Also, I'm lactose intolerant and this does not cause any discomfort for me. I'm almost done my first box of these and will definitely be ordering them again.

It works-stop complaining
Wow where to start. First off all those people that gave it 1 or 2 stars because of not mixing well, messy, packet breaks when I shake it, It's too thick, or something of that nature need to do their homework and maybe take up a sport like checkers. For people that just didn't like the taste, Vitamin profile(Iron and Folic Acid) or it bothers your stomach I get it. I think that's reasonable. The other stuff is laziness. These people probably complain they get sweaty from their workout at the Gym. Buy a Nutribullet. You can afford it the MetRx is almost 50 bucks. Water it down. It is a meal replacement why would you complain when you can make that packet last for breakfast and lunch just by adding water or whatever tastes good to you. All you need is one packet a day and a Protein powder supplement. The bottom line is that MetRx works if you use it right. I use mine to loose weight and I'm never hungry-thanks to the consistency. Yes I admit is hard to get 20oz of MetRx in you. But that's great and breaks up the Protein intake giving you a little less Aminos over a longer time-your muscles never starve. It also saves you money-this is a meal replacement. In regard to mixing get a nutri or Magic Bullet. At 90 bucks it's great. If you're buying MetRx you can afford it. I mix my shake in 5 seconds and there are no lumps. I do recommend using water and a juice you like with the vanilla flavour. The more milk you add the thicker it will be. The bottom line is THIS STUFF WORKS. I will admit not as well as the original from the 90's. I think there was a thermogenic in it-anyway they pulled it off the shelves. I heard because it was sold to another company. I don't believe that. You felt sweaty, you pooped green after the first packet-and a lot and you'd have hot flashes all day-it was uncomfortable. So something was up. All my friends had the same reaction and you got bigger and more cut than on the newer version. On the newer version I'm reviewing I lost 5lbs of fat-just fat in 7 days using this product. If you want it you gotta work for it. I don't like vegetables-but I eat them. I like Cheese Burgers and fries and crap. But I don't eat it. Use the product anyway you feel comfortable(1 shake a day or 2). Eat clean-you don't have to go overboard, and get a protein powder. I promise you- you will see results fast. Don't over feed yourself. Don't have a shake and a steak dinner-It's one or the other. If you follow these loose guidelines you will be successful. If it's just protein you need just buy a protein powder you like. If you want to change your physic use MetRx and don't sweat the small stuff.

Good stuff. Tasty, but you need to watch how you mix it.
I have been a fan of MET-Rx products for a while. I used to carry around the Big 100 Colossal Apple Crisp bars...usually, one for breakfast and one for lunch, but they never kept me that full. My problem was I would snack throughout the day because I felt compelled to eat something. Anyway, this stuff works great. You have to watch how you blend it though. Here's how I mix: 1. Put about 10oz of water in the BlenderBottle. 2. I add a scoop of Amazing Grass Chocolate Drink Powder, and then about half of the Met-Rx packet. 3. Drop the blender ball in, shake it quite well for about 20-30 seconds. 4. Add 10 more ounces of water, add the remaining Met-Rx powder, and then shake for another 20-30 seconds. 5. I make this the night before, throw it in the fridge, and the following morning for breakfast I have what is essentially chocolate pudding. I have been doing this for about a week. My digestive system is slowly trying to get used to this product. I have heard it causes cramping and some minor stomach issues, but those are slowly going away. I feel full for several hours from one of these. I "drink" one of these shakes at about 4:15 every morning and by 9 or so I get slight hunger pains. I then snack on some cashews or something, but am not able to eat very many before I feel full again. I snack lightly every few hours until about 5 or 6 in the evening, which is about the time I eat dinner. I am not exactly starving, but I can tell that since I've started drinking these, I don't feel like I need to eat as much...so that's a plus, considering that was always my problem. Try to find a buddy that drinks these and see if you can get a packet just to try it out, this type of product isn't for everyone.
