Light was as expected. I needed to replace my outdoor security light and needed one in a hurry. It arrived. What should have been straightforward install turned into a fiddly, faffing about and frustrating afternoon!Firstly , the recommended height for installation is 2.2m …….. fabulous and where my other one was so luckily won’t have to re-drill new holes . Wrong. The power lead is less than one metre long! So unless you’re going to immediately replace the power lead …… this light is going on the fence !So, I decide as it’s needed now …. It’s going on the fence. Connect plug …. Well . The wires are so skinny and thin that I lost another couple of inches just trying to put the plug on!Finally do all that. Take it outside to screw to fence ….and realise that in order to angle the light from its frame , I am going to need the largest size Allen Key on the face of planet Earth!After hunting around the sheds, I finally found one , and completed the installation of said light.Tested it and it works well.The instructions are useless. And nowhere does it tell you, you are going to need that humongous Allen key. Nor that the power lead supplied isn’t long enough to fulfill its own recommended height!Luckily , I’m a woman with lots of patience,,,,,, but if you don’t have that quality…… thus light us definitely not for you!

The media could not be loaded.  I have set this light to work when anyone approaches my front door to give extra illumination for my door bell video camera. The motion detection is easy to adjust to cover the desired area. The twin pack is excellent value. Extra wiring will be required if you haven't got a suitable connection point within 1 metre of where you want to fit it. This cost me about the same as the purchase price of the lights.

Have a previous version of this which I bought last year and is still working fine so bought another two to fit on a side entrance. I would say the 10w is perfect for the driveway or side entrance as they are not too bright to annoy the neighbours.This latest version has 14 individual LEDs, so looks slightly different to the 12 pictured on the page. Other than that, they work just the same and it's nice having the pre set lighting durations rather than the twist dial/knob versions as much easier to set the desired time and less chance of water ingress.

I used two either side of my car port to come on as I arrive home after dark. They do the job very well and are not too bright. You may need to adjust time,and sensitivity to your own requirements.I found the fact that they were both pre-wired and had Allen bolts on the bracket very helpful. Will be happy to purchase again if I need any more. Obviouslyly unable to comment on longer term viability

Bought two lights. One for above front door and one for back gate covering public footpath that runs through the centre of my property, both have brilliant motion sensor and up to present, only been up a week, weatherproof. Had some pretty rough winds and hail and rain in that week!! Pleased with product and think value for money, so far.

I purchased this for the back of my garage to light up my garden steps and greenhouse. I was worried that it was not going to be bright enough to do the job but I was pleasantly surprised at how much area this low wattage light covered.

This is a very good piece and works great, very happy with it. Put it on the house at the top of my drive and it comes on when I start to come through the gates, the motion pick up is great.

I bought this sensor light for an enclosed lean-to at the side of my garage. You will need to wire a plug to the end of the cable but other than that its straight forward. It lights up the area I need and as its a sensor light it comes on and goes off automatically.
