Levi's Men's 559 Relaxed Straight Jeans (Also Available in Big & Tall)

These are as good as jeans get. I found a couple of pairs at Macy's for the same price, but (unlike Amazon), their stock is limited. They are lighter than the 505 jeans & slightly stretchy. Select a size smaller than your regular size. I normally wear a 38 waist/32 length. These are too large in that size, but the 36 waist fits perfectly in the 559's. And they're very comfortable.

I have thick legs so I used to wear 569s until they changed them around 2015. I tried 559s and really like them. They are not as baggy as the old 569s which is good. However, when I first started buying them I was shocked at how differently the different colors of 559s fit. After ordering different colors/styles, I finally figured it out.Some 559 colors are marked as "stretch" but even that's not reliable. You have to look at the percentage of elastane in the description. The ones that are 2% elastane are much more stretchy than the ones that are 1% elastane. Then there's the 100% cotton colors that aren't stretchy at all. I prefer the 2% elastane.Overall, they are good jeans. I wear these pretty much every day and how long they last depends on how many pairs I have. I typically have 6-8 pairs that I rotate every day. For an average pair I think I usually get about 2 years out of them. I tend to stain them working in the yard before I wear them out with holes in them. They usually go on sale for $35-40 a couple of times per year. July or August seems to be a good time to buy them.

Got these on a whim for my husband and they look great. Fit is as described. I got two different washes and they're a nice change from "blue" blue jeans. Zippers are sturdy, fabric is as expected, no odor. I like to preserve the color and size so I wash cold and line dry. Value for $ is definitely spot on.

Levi's are not as thick as they used to be. The fabric is definitely flimsier and thinner. That being said, they still fit great and my husband looks sexy as hell in these. Got them on prime day for over 40 percent off and I think they were well worth it. I'm not sure if I'd still pay full price for Levi's though, the quality of the fabric really is that different now.

I haven’t worn Levi jeans for a while and these were on sale. I like the relaxed fit and the quality. I definitely would purchase them again.

It looks good quality. The fit is different at the one you buy in a department store. This one are tight. In general are ok.
