Batteries are starting to become expensive. When you have as many remotes as I do it becomes prohibitively so. I had been considering rechargeable but until recently I didn’t feel that they were truly an advantage. New technology makes rechargeable more viable now then the old style and I have begun changing over all my battery requirements. From AAA to D cells and also button cell batteries for key fobs. You can now get them all. Slightly more expensive than their expendable buddies, but before long all batteries will be rechargeable so I am glad I started the process now.
