It contains a series of Arabic proverbs, written both in Arabic script and in transliteration, along with the closest English equivalent (or noting where there is no equivalent, or that the proverb is shared by both languages). It is aided with some well-done and funny line drawings to illustrate the point. It is very useful to English learners of Arabic (or Arabic students of English), both for the proverbs themselves and the vocabulary which it uses. Highly recommended.

This book is great. These little proverbs are fun to study and share. As a student of Arabic, I like to see what is the same between the two languages and learn some new phrases. The illustrations are lively and clever.
