Mackie MC-100 Over-Ear Closed-Back Headphones for Studio Monitoring, DJs, Content Creation and Home Listening

These headphones arrived earlier than expected. Fully live up to the other pairs previously reviewed - every bit as comfortable, and sound quality just as excellent. Use these mainly with my iPad but would expand beyond this if necessary. Great buy!

Brought these headphones to replace my gaming headset and have been blown away by the quality of audio being able to hear every little creak in horror games so clearly I felt like I was there

Good headphones for the money paid, sound is ok but after owing the Mackie MC250 headphones these are a bit of a downgrade, I hear you ask why not buy the MC 250 ones then...well I did and just after 2 years of limeted use the side ajusting arm snapped right off ( plastic c**p again ) making them useless, as heading states " if only " they put the features of the 250 headphones... removable cable great bass mid and top end range shaped ear pads into the MC100 headphone frame they would have a great pair of studio headphones one can only dream....one day

These headphones give a nice clear sound. They are good value for the price. I use them mainly with my phone at home.

Sound quality 5/10

Audio seems comparable to Sony XB550 except bass is weaker (however, this can be fixed with eq). Do note that an adaptor will be required if it's to connect to PC or laptop. Yet to thorougly test it out. However, for it's price range, it's a good option for entry level headphones.

Su calidad es buena, son cómodos, y son resistentes, la extensión del cable es bastante buena y el conector da confianza, vale la pena el precio. Tienen una respuesta plana y sirven muy bien para mezclar el panorama, brindan mucho detalle y se escuchan bastante fuerte, por ende, tras mucho uso, si llegan a fatigar los oídos.

I was looking for cheap, loud, closed back headphones for tracking at a project studio. These fit the bill. Time will tell how sturdy they are, but so far I’m impressed. The sound is also surprisingly pleasing, as I had low expectations based on the price. Nice long cord, comfortable to wear. As long as they hold up over the next few months, I will likely be purchasing more.
