Bicycle Tragic Royalty Playing Cards,Black/Red

Very enjoyable to play with people who have never seen them before. Always get a good laugh during a game!

I am writing card reviews based on two separate things. For Amazon's purposes I will give a deck five stars if it is functional and is a good playing deck. Just about any bicycle 808 DAC is going to qualify for this unless there is something really strange going on. However I also have added my own rating system based on 10 decks of cards. Basically it's the standard 1 to 10 scale. My ratings are based on things like the beauty of the cards, the extra features that they may or may not have, the extra cards they may or may not have, and special coatings and things like that.This deck gets a solid 8 decks out of 10. ***UPDATE: I am changing this to 9/10 after playing around with a black light. *** The glow feature of this deck is really a "golly wow" thing and adds another point to the deck's value. This deck has beautiful designs and something that also adds to the value is that even the standard cards have custom pips making them look more unique and original. Another plus for this design is that even though they have used a gray card and some different colors on the court cards, they are still very readable and usable for play. Sometimes when a card deck is customize too much, it becomes unusable for play. These cards are still very usable day in and day out.As far as quality Enfield, they are standard bicycle 808 cards. Which is to say they are very good. There is nothing special about the box or tuck. One other neat feature is that they claim these cards glow under black light. I have not tested this, and do not think it will be of much use during regular gameplay. However it is an extra feature that is kind of neat. Overall for the price these are an outstanding set of cards and the only cards that really stand out as being better are some of the really custom cards that come from places like kick starter. You will likely pay a good deal more for those though.This deck comes with two jokers and to add cards. The aces spades is very nice. There are no blank cards or gaff cards.Amazon 5 *Decks 9/10

This is one of thee nicest decks that I've owned. The art on the cards is amazing. As someone else mentioned, the art is akin to that of Tim Burton's artwork, drawings, doodles, sketches, etc. Love the overall gray tone on the cards themselves it gives them somewhat of a goth type O vibe without the extreme overbearing melancholy, overly dramatic, forlorn & attention seeking that the goth scene tends to put out there because these (the art on the cards) are done in a fun, friendly, cute & playful animated way. It's just a cool looking & unique deck. I really don't plan on playing/handling them too much because others have said that they don't seem too durable but even if I do decide to make them a part of the regular rotation of card playing & they do start to become a little worn, I'll just cease using them all together & just use em as some sort of decor, using them for a craft project or something to display their artwork. They'd make good craft/art project pieces if you wanna go that route too. Overall these are a definite hit!

I bought this deck along with two others, the Bicycle Guardian deck and the Bicycle Black Shadow Master Ellusionist deck.All three decks are cool, and as far as I could tell, the same in terms of the quality of cards and the smooth air cushion finish on the cards.I was the most excited to get the Black Ellusionist deck, but was surprised at how much I like the Tragic Royalty deck! The Tragic deck has a really cool color scheme (the grey instead of white on the cards is sweet), and the faces of all of the royalty are different. For example, each King of the four suits is different than the other Kings. The King of Hearts is my personal favorite. The Jacks and Queens are also unique, depending on the suit.THe gray color of the cards is awesome, and even the details of the suit symbols on the ace through ten cards are even a cool style for each suit, it reminds me of the Nightmare Before Christmas style.Basically, this deck is AWESOME! A lot more than I expected, and is a really great deal. It is really unique and has a unique style. I like it much more than the other two decks I purchased, and almost want to buy another deck!

I'll start with the aesthetic value of the deck. At first glance I thought it was a little on the ugly side, but it grew on me. Upon closer inspection (especially so with the court cards), the artwork itself is rather nice. It makes the court cards stand out a bit more. Very original IMO. I have to admit, I'm more than a little bored with just about every deck using almost identical art for the court cards. This is a nice change.A word on quality... The stock seems a little on the thin side, and the deck has a smooth finish. So, they may be good for card games, or display. I imagine they would also be decent for some magic tricks, but I wouldn't use them for card manipulation, but that's just based on my preferences.Bottom line? It is a nice looking deck, and perhaps an interesting/fun alternative to standard poker cards. So, despite minor drawbacks, this is still a four star product in my opinion.

I bought this deck to practice card tricks and shuffling. Very happy with this deck. All face cards are unique with designs that are very interesting to look at. They have several hours of playing time with no damage, peeling, or wrinkling. Cool deck that costs the same as a standard poker deck.

All the cards are so awesome and the J Q K and A are all fun and unique faces! They also glow in black light which is another fun aspect! They also feel great in your hand and shuffle amazingly, like bicycle cards do!
