Great version of an already brilliant book

More suited for YAs ( young adults). The price is decent. The story was not what i expected.

I chose this graphic novel to read with my students because it was the end of the school year and we had very little time remaining. It was the best decision as a teacher. This book transformed my students' thoughts about reading. The books on the state curriculum are not interesting to our students. This book brought them to life. All the skills i was trying to teach came to life. They would have meaningful discussions and I just sat back and listened in awe. Jason Reynolds is a phenomenal writer and his style is captivating to reluctant readers. Students that resisted reading all year finally bought it and LOVED IT. Thanks Mr. Reynolds for sparking a desire to read in students that never experienced the beauty of literature.
