I decided to run my rear speaker wires down my wall and into my basement (then back up the opposite wall) instead of having the wires laying on my living room floor. This unit makes it easy to use a banana plug for the exposed connection and just bare wire wrap the hidden connection (although you can use banana plugs on the inside also). This unit looks as advertised and is surprisingly solid for the price. highly recommend.

Binding post works well or to use banana plugs are good fitting 17 years doing this I would say for the average person these are excellent choice.
