It works well!!!
My Last one lasted 3 years but I just bought a new one and tried it today 4/20/2025 Easter Sunday, and thank the Lord Jesus, my new remote works well. I can now watch movies and put them on pause and come back to finish watching. I am very happy that it works well, and not expensive. Thank you Amazon. taiyin 22.

Like the description says, you put in the batteries and it just starts to work. Does every function on my Sony DVD player. Effortless.

Didn’t work for us
First, it requires AA, not AAA batteries as description says. Second, it comes with no set- up instructions. And, most importantly, we couldn’t get it to work with our Sony DVD player. I will be returning it.

It works
The remote works (you have to be kinda close to the dvd player though), and all the buttons function. The remote requires two AA batteries that are not included.

Works PERFECTLY with 10 year old DVD player.
I left the batteries in the Sony DVD remote. And naturally they corroded. (Don't do that, always take them out.)The DVD player is over 10 years old. I ordered this remote (rather than the cheaper one) because it said it would work with my Sony player. And it did! YEAH! No set ups or curse words, just worked perfectly.And I just bought a second one (I stepped on the first). Still working great.
