This is a great way to get kids interested in computer science. Even though this book is written for kids, it is an amazing way to get kids interested in scratch coding. Any kid would love to create their own computer game. The graphics seem to be alive and pop right out of the book. I was really impressed with the layout and the content of the book and would give it to any kid or adult just starting to be interested in computer science. The author has thought of everything. This would make a great present for any kid.

Excellent book for kids trying to learn how to use Scratch!

I bought this book for my 4th grade nephew for Christmas. He's into computer stuff but I wasn't sure if this was a good fit for him. Well, he loves it! I didn't realize when I bought it that it teaches actutal programming skills for kids. But he taught himself a bunch of stuff I wont ever understand. Anyway, I'd say if you have a kid in your life that wants to learn coding, this it it!

As a teacher, I am always finding ways to stay ahead of my students when it comes to computer science. While this book is written for kids, it is an outstanding resource for upper elementary or middle school teachers. The graphics make it more accessible, and almost anyone could follow along with the activities! I’m so excited to give this as a gift and to use it myself!
