27” SwissGear 4010
Purchased a discounted In Box unit that I assume was a return. The unit is just under 62” dimensions overall and very light in the 8 pound range. The top zippered front pocket is full length and extends behind the lower zippered front pocket. So very long and flat things can be put into the top zippered front pocket. The rest is pretty standard. “I haven’t used it in a trip yet” Looks comparable to my TravelPro MaxLite and as light and better built than my Amazon Basic luggage handle that broke.Update: I continue to like the 27”and have now used it on a couple trips. One by car and one by plane. It’s big as practical and holds 50 pounds snugly. No extra space and not super compressed and not via expansion zipper so just right. I like the light weight of the 27” bag. I think ths is better than the expensive well advertised brands because of the equal performance at a lower price.

Great size and quality
Size is most useful for short travel. I use it mostly for weekends or 5 day trips. It is holding up great so far through over 50 trips. I would buy it again for the quality and size.

Perfect size
I didn’t want a larger carry on. This is the perfect size. Haven’t used it yet so I’ll keep y’all posted.

Great suitcase, but delivered in bad shape
I ordered this suitcase to take on a 2-week bus tour, and we hoped to just take the one suitcase for my husband and I. The first one that came was really beaten up during shipping and arrived very dented and scuffed. I ordered a replacement, which arrived promptly and wasn't AS beat up, but was still dented and scuffed. As we started to pack, we quickly realized that we wouldn't be able to pack everything in one suitcase, so I decided to take both on the trip. And, even though they didn't look too great, they both performed like champs. They came home after 2 airplane trips and being tossed on and off a bus for 2 weeks looking exactly the same as when they left. The big dent in the first one did make it a bit hard to zip up sometimes, but it always did zip with a bit of perseverence. So, if you order this suitcase, just give yourself plenty of time to order before you need it, just in case you need to order a replacement or two. Now, on to a discussion about their performance. These suitcases are very light and maneuverable, and were easy to push around varioius hotels and the airports. The lifting handle on mine liked to collapse. The button on the top was maybe a little too sensitive? And I felt that it didn't really lock into place firmly in either the low or high position. It got quite annoying by the end of the trip, but it did fine with my carryon there as I pushed it around. The suitcase holds a lot, and it is expandable if you need a bit of extra space on your trip. It theoretically has two front pockets. However, we quickly found out it is actually just 1 pocket that covers the entire front of the suitcase and two zippers to get into it. That seems very strange to me. In other suitcases, I have used the small front pocket for handy access to small toiletries but in this case, any small toiletries would fall all the way down to the bottom of the pocket and be hard to retrieve. Additionally, for me at least, I thought the handle on the side seemed weirdly placed and when I tried to use it to heft it up on the bed, it was actually worse than just grabbing the wheel and the handle on top. So, that wasn't great. But, maybe that was just me. I'm left handed and sometimes that makes things unexpectedly awkward. In conclusion, this is a basic suitcase without a lot of bells and whistles on the inside or outside, but it is also only a moderate price, so I think it is a good deal for what you spend. I was definitely impressed with its durability and how easy it is to push around. I'm not sure how long the suitcases will last since they are already both dented, but for the moment, I don't regret my purchase.

Arrived on time and in good condition.
I ordered the wrong size by mistake! I sent this back back and ordered a different size! We love the Swiss luggage. We have had them for many years. I used to travel for a living and used them all the time!

Don’t buy. Handle unstable & badly engineered
Just took this light weight small roll on (despite not having a side handle to facilitate lifting) on a two week trip abroad. Since it was carry on, it was always with me. The handle never held its position once pulled out of the suitcase. This handle doesn’t lock in place and stay there. It slips up and down, even on escalators, when moving on uneven surfaces. Honestly, traveling means carrying another bag, packages etc. and if the roll on is unstable it’s dangerous. Especially getting on and off escalators, going down curbs, rushing to catch trains etc. Very disappointed. It was exhausting adjusting this handle and to remember not to let my hand tough the release button right on top of the handle, that cause it to go up and down. Because that’s the only place meant to adjust the height of the handle. I have lots of roll ons and suitcases. Never have I had one this unstable. Frankly, don’t buy this. You’ll fight with it on every trip.

Good piece of luggage
Good carry on size. It stood up to multiple transatlantic trips and an RT transcontinental flt , a few times as checked luggage. Enough room for me (as an average sized male) for a week if you also have a small personal item you can chuck some of your gear in. That it doesn't expand is good because it's a very stable platform whilst rolling through airports. The Handle , this is where it falls off the cliff unless you figure it out. Don't try to over pack it and you're laughing. I'd most likely spend a bit more and get the Travel Pro 19 inch spinner.
