Overall Really Great!
Works great, the cord is a little short but the old Xbox looks great on the new tv.

What a difference.
I broke out the original xbox after more years than the average man can count. The only cables that still worked were the originals and it looked terrible. I hooked this up and was amazed at the difference in picture quality.

Works but not on mine:(
Honestly its a great product but I regret to inform that I had bought it in hopes that my old xbox 360 would finally output video. It still doesn't and im almost done with it at this point, after having it since 2011 I think its time to put the old girl to rest:(

Worked great with first gen Xbox 360 and capture card
I recently discovered my old Xbox 360 and decided to get it up and running. I have an Elgato capture device with HDMI in, but my original first gen Xbox 360 does not have HDMI out. I ended up using this adapter, which worked great with my capture card and the console. It was simply to connect and works great!

Be careful
When I plugged this unit in - thankfully into a surge protector - it sparked. I am in the U.S. and using a XBox 360. I plugged it in and it ran for about 10 minutes then there was a loud “pop” from the surge protector. I quickly unplugged the adapter. Dangerous and obviously does not work. FYI. I have a brand new home with all new wiring/electric and a 200 amp panel and this was connected to a 15 amp outlet with a surge protector. Buyer beware
