Excellent for pack camping!
Used for a primitive camping trip and it light, easy to pack, & works great! It assembled nicely, it isn’t flimsy and saws great, good sharp blade. Comfortable to use and carry.

Good value, good product.
Great piece of equipment for my RV. Sharp and comes with an extra blade. Worth it. Decent case that it fits in. Like this saw.

Space Saving High Quality Saw!
I wanted a high-quality saw with a small footprint in terms of taking up space in my Bushcraft/Bug-out bag and this came highly recommended. As soon as you feel the saw and lock it together for tension you can tell it's made very well. It has a nice durable heft to it and is machined well to accurately glide together smoothly to generate great tension. The leather sheath is also a nice bonus as it's actually a nice piece of thick hand stitched leather. I've ordered leather cases and tool roll bags from other companies that specialize in leather crafting and this piece of leather is actually better produced and crafted than some of theirs. In terms of cutting I took the saw out back and it cuts like black magic. The tension holds up well with each stroke. The entire saw works so well together as one whole unit that you wouldn't even think it was a collapsible saw, because it feels like one solid piece of metal as you're sawing. That was initially biggest concern was worrying about weak spots at the points of articulation that would feel wobbly or loose as you're sawing. However, I can tell you that is not the case with this saw, so if you have any reservation about how it holds up during sawing wood I can tell you that it feels as solid as a typical well-made hacksaw or bowsaw would feel. The only con is it's expensive, but I'm old enough to know you do get what you pay for. I just recently learned that with BBQ grills as I was going through a new $400.00 gas BBQ grill every 3 years here in FL. And yes, my grills were cleaned after every use and covered under the patio away from the elements. The bottoms still rusted out of them like clockwork almost every 4 years because they are all made out of cheap Chinese steel now. I have since bought a Kamado Joe with a lifetime warranty and were now at the 4 year mark without any issues whatsoever. What I'm getting at is pay the initial investment and have a tool that will last you a long time if you can afford it up front. It's also nice to support your Canadian brothers up North for producing such a innovative and quality product. Hell I would even pay a little more if they donated some of the proceeds for a campaign fund to get rid of Trudeau...

Sturdy and Cuts strong
Top notch instrument. I saw a similar folding saw from Outdoor boys and needed it for a 10-day canoe trip. As a companion to hatchet this is perfect for bushwacking and general purpose. I love the folding action makes it require some force to get it in but it is extremely sturdy and inflexible while cutting. Comes with an extra blade as well.

Very well made, wonderful design
I can't tell you how happy I am with this purchase. This buck saw is so easy to fold into a small and light package, is strong, and the craftsmanship outstanding. Sure it costs $110, but you get the extra blade and a very nice carry case with this incredible saw. It is well worth the expense. You can take this saw on any camping trip, even kayaking and backpacking because it is so light and compact. If anyone is looking for the perfect tool for cutting up camp fire fuel, this is it! Update 2-20-22: I needed to shorten a large piece of black oak to be able to get it into my wood stove, so instead of taking the time to break out the chain saw I took the opportunity instead to use this hand saw with the more aggressive blade. It took me less than two minutes to make a straight six inch thick cut through this hard, dry, and tough wood. In the end it saved me a significant amount of time. So glad I made this purchase!

Best folding saws you can buy!
Finally, was able to find the Boreal24 with the Sidney Rancher blade in stock! The AGAWA saws are amazing and are definitely a go-to gear item when I'm out in the field. Never had any issues with AGAWA and I know this 24-incher Boreal will work great. I've owned the 21-incher Boreal for years and it hasn't let me down; however, I've found myself in want for a longer 24" blade on several occasions. AGAWA didn't offer the 24-incher years ago when they first released the Boreal saw, unfortunately. The prices of these saws have climbed over the years. That said, if you're looking for a great folding saw option that is easy to pack and carry, these AGAWA saws are worth every penny.

I Finalliy Bit The Bullet
I have wanted one of these saws for years but never could force myself to pull the trigger on it because it is pretty expensive by my standards. That, and I was tossed up between this and a traditional handmade bow saw. Either way, the purchase price would be high. I have no regrets. This saw is awesome, packed down in a nice tight narrow kit. I opted for the case as well and am very thankful I did. I am taking this saw bikepacking and wanted the peace of mind that it would not damage other pieces of gear in my panniers. The carry case is very nice, is heavy-weight material, and should last for years. I have both the green wood blade and the dry wood blade. There is a spare blade compartment in the case. It also comes with two extra "C" clips that were shrink-wrapped onto the info card so be careful not to throw the card away without cutting the "C" clips off of the card. I simply cut the clips from the card....leaving them still attached to the card...cutting it about the size of a calling card and placing it deep into the blade compartment. Yea, I am thrilled with my saw.

Excellent quality
Excellent quality and it works very well. I like the leather sheath with the strap which helped with carrying it when collecting firewood in the forest while camping. It easily cut wood 4" to 6" diameter which was perfect for fires. One caution: be careful when folding it closed as it could hurt when it "unsnaps" - very forceful.
