BLX88 Dual Channel Receiver - for use with BLX Wireless Systems, Transmitters Sold Separately | H11 Band (BLX88=-H11)

I bought this to replace a 20+ year old Audio Technica system after the receiver began to randomly drop the connection with the transmitter. It was easy to install, with no need to search for a specific MHz frequency. The sound quality is excellent (the belt-clip style transmitter and wireless headset were replaced along with the receiver). When ordering replacement equipment it is important to order a transmitter and receiver that are on the same frequency band (designated by Shure with a letter and number, such as "H10"). 5 stars.

I recently discovered that you can use a combination of a body backs plugged into a monitor channel and multiple receivers to create outboard or remote speakers. In fact, one body back can transmit to multiple receivers. Of course if you already have multiple microphones then you need some additional receivers. That's where this unit comes in. It takes up a little less table space and powers two receivers off of one power supply. I tested it in a 3 hour show with two mikes and no difficulties at all. Just make sure your microphones and this receiver cover the same frequency range?
