Durable, Spacious, and Perfect for Organizing Small Supplies or Tools
This Akro-Mils 64-drawer cabinet is a total game changer for keeping small items organized. I use it to store jewelry-making supplies, but it would work just as well for craft materials, hardware, beads, or even office essentials. The drawers glide smoothly, and the cabinet itself feels sturdy and well-built, definitely not flimsy plastic. I love that the drawers are clear, so you can quickly see what’s inside without opening each one, and the unit is lightweight enough to move around if needed. It can be mounted on the wall or placed on a desk or shelf, which makes it super versatile for different workspaces. If you love staying organized or work with lots of small parts, this storage cabinet is worth every penny, practical, durable, and surprisingly sleek for something so functional. Pro tip: pair it with the Akro-Mils dividers for even more customization, perfect for sorting tiny pieces or delicate supplies.

Great for storing my craft supplies
I purchased one of these cabinets in November for craft storage. I didn't think I would need more than one; however, when I started organizing my craft supplies, I quickly realized that I would need a couple more cabinets. I order two more and will be working on my craft room organization. I purchased two of the white color cabinets that have the two sizes of drawers and one with all large drawers. The storage capacity is amazing. I have a lot of little jewelry findings and sublimation blanks that fit perfectly in the drawers. They are sturdy enough to hold everything I currently have, and I created some labels to be able to find everything at a glance. They look great on the long bookcase I have in my craft room. As for the dividers, I haven't used the ones on the back of the cabinets. If I do need dividers in the future, I have chip board I can used to make them. All in all, a great find for someone who has a lot of craft supplies.

Akro-Mils = classic, utilitarian storage for bits and bobs
I collect junk—I make tiny weird things out of other tiny, weird things. These chests of small drawers have my garbage/treasures/supplies organized to the Nth degree. I have six 24-drawer chests, stacked and anchored to a studio wall. They hold everything from cut nails to seed beads to animal bones to microscope slides. Just bought a 7th and 8th cabinet, but I went with 44- and 64-drawer units. I’m so excited! Cool thing is, drawers from ones purchased 10-20 years old are interchangeable with new ones. Since the 90s at least, the drawers have been made of a slightly flexible, translucent Rubbermaid-esque plastic. I can rearrange drawers endlessly between different units, and they are virtually unbreakable. Housings are harder—maybe polystyrene?—and are made with stops to allow drawers to hang out, open. Easy, consistent, and durable. Also, the drawers have internal rails—I can divide them in half with strips of cardboard if I want. (The back of the unit has plastic dividers one can snip out to use as templates, too!) The price keeps going up—but buying through Amazon is cheaper than most big box retailers. (Home Depot has white-on-white ones, though!) These are still made in the US—and isn’t that something to support? Akron, Ohio for the win. EDIT: unlike most craft storage totes and caddies that have a ton of wasted dead space and are made to eventually crack, tip, or fall apart, these units are heavy enough to not wobble or slide around, and they are compact—barely larger than the drawers they hold. I could rave about great storage for days—these are at the top of my recommendation list. IRIS storage from The Container Store has a tendency to yellow. Akro-Mils does not, in my experience. Again, I’d rather pass on throwaway plastic junk and buy something made to last a lifetime (that just happens to be plastic).

useful organizer with limited included dividers
I picked up this Akro‑Mils organizer to sort small hardware and electronics parts, and the overall build quality is solid. The drawers slide smoothly, the cabinet feels sturdy, and the layout makes it easy to keep different components separated and easy to reach. For general workshop or hobby use, it does the job well. The main drawback is the number of dividers included. There aren’t enough to outfit all the drawers, so if you want every compartment split, you’ll need to buy additional dividers separately. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does add to the total cost if you need full customization. On the positive side, this organizer is popular enough that there are plenty of 3D‑printable divider designs available. I printed a set for the drawers I needed, and they fit well and solved the shortage without having to order extra parts. Overall, it’s a reliable storage cabinet with good durability and flexibility, but the limited divider count keeps it from being perfect.

It just what I need, size, plenty of room, able to spread out the "stuff" I need.
It is exactly what I had hoped it would be. It is a bit large (wide), but at 4 ft 11 inches, that is probably why. Hubby set up a storage container a couple of inches above my worktable so I can reach it, but it is a small stretch. I love the size of the trays and having extra dividers for some of the trays will be of help. I have placed some of the items, but it is a slow process because hubby finally gave in and bought me a 6 ft table to do my measuring, cutting, get what I would need to do my painting on the material. Making quilts with buying sheets, good quality ones and cut them into the blocks the size I need. Putting carbon paper down (type that can be washed off) trace the coloring page and then painting with acrylic markers and paint in tubes. I now have plenty of room to do the work I need, area for markers, tubes of paint, scissors, and more with extra room left over. Am so HAPPY to have this table, price was good, it is solid, and I think it will be perfect for what I want to do. Thrilled with it, would highly recommend it for someone looking for something longer and wider, strong (holds 300 pounds) and just what I had hoped for.

Storage Box - 44 Drawers
A handsome storage container box that could fit in any decor. The workmanship is exceptional, the finished corners are rounded and smooth, the drawers are deep, spacious & will work perfectly to keep small items in one plac. I've looked for years to find exactly this and I really appreciate the integrity of this seller quickly delivering what they promised.

Overpriced, needs a lot of work before use. OK thereafter.
I have smaller versions of these, which are old, & better quality, but I wanted to consolidate to save counter space. Pros: * It's big, with lots of drawers. * Larger drawers in general, + 12 jumbo drawers means everything fits. * Plastic is like Tupperware plastic, so no worries about cracking it. * Comes with SOME dividers, which are wildly better than the older kind. They actually hold on to the dividers, & shouldn't come out so easily. (I spend a lot of time messing with screws that slid under the dividers in my old drawers. We'll see.) Cons: * It was filthy, & I had to wash it, just to feel comfortable using it. * Every single drawer had flashing, which I had to deburr. Took HOURS! * The dividers are molded into the back of the frame, and when removed, weakens the back - which is mighty flimsy to begin with. Also, no small trick to remove them. * These things all have practically no support, and are 100% open in the back, so if you tip any, you will be looking everywhere for the parts. * Most of the drawers were misshapen, with squeezed in sides. * Comes with only 6 Dividers (2 big, & 4 small), for 44 Drawers? !!! ? They're nice dividers, but how about a few more, given the cost of this thing? Solutions: * After deburring all the drawers, they slid a lot easier. * After I washed them all in Dawn & Hot water, they all mostly regained their shape. * I added cardboard backing to stiffen up the frame, and slid cardboard under each row of drawers, to stop items dropping down, in case of a spill. (Been there, done that!) * I usually cut cardboard to fit the slots, as dividers. They work, if the weight's not too much pressing on them. Cereal box weight works best for my old ones. Haven't done these, yet. Maybe dollar store plastic bins would work better, given the larger size drawers. Trace & cut with shears. Overall: It was a giant headache to get it into useable shape, and way overpriced, but once completed, makes a nice, large, one stop shop for parts that I need, without having multiple units taking up the whole counter. Not sure I'd have ordered it, had I known the cons up front, but I hate returns, so I did it. I paid $43. for Christmas 2022, & I see they've jacked up the price now. They should give dividers for at least half of the drawers, at that price, but instead they SELL you extras, for nearly a Buck a piece! Not cool!
