CLC Custom Leathercraft 1582 15" Zippered Top Tool Carrier with Molded Base

I can’t speak about other bags, but for what I do, handyman work, this bag is perfect. Not too big, not too small. Really well constructed, really like the rubber/plastic bottom, which should aid durability. It has plenty of interior and exterior pockets, and plenty of room in the gut for larger items.I have used it daily since I got it and am very happy with it.Definitely recommend this bag.

This is not the first CLC bag I have had. This would be the second, my first backpack which I still use for telecom (at a jobsite where I am on call as needed), I have had for the past seven years and is still just as functional and useful as the first day- which speaks for the quality and workmanship of their products. This particular bag, I am going to use for doing network cabling and testing telephony installations. Bag stands up, so no flopping over, opens up wide and will stay open. Plenty of room in the bottom with my lineman's handset, spare cabling and label maker, with smaller pockets and tool loops around the inside. Still plenty more outside pockets and a place to keep a tape measure too. I like the little plastic bin which is included for RJ45, RJ11s and little this or that.Nice to have a high quality bag, which seems bigger than the dimensions and a great value. Will serve my needs for years to come, I am sure.

THIS TOOL BAG OR JUST ABOUT ANY OTHER PURPOSE ONE MIGHT THINK TO USE IT FOR. I WAS NEEDING A STURDY TOOL BAG SO I COULD LOAD UP THE NECESSARY TOOLS I WOULD NEED TO TRANSPORT FROM MY HOUSE TO MY BACK YARD WHERE I AM BUILDING A SHOP INSIDE MY STORAGE BUILDING ( 20' X 12 ' ), AND STORING MY TOOLS EACH DAY WAS GETTING OLD. THIS OF COURSE WILL IN TIME CHANGE WHEN I HAVE MADE THE NECESSARY COMPLETION ,SO I WILL BE ABLE TO LOCK AND STORE MY TOOLS WHEN I GET THE SHOP COMPLETED. THIS BAG CARRIES MUCH MORE THAN I THOUGHT LOOKING AT AN ENLARGED VIEW ON AMAZON SITE. BUT I WAS HAPPY THAT IT IS LARGER. EXAMPLE ; CORDLESS 1/2"DRILL/DRIVER, CORDLESS IMPACT TOOL, BATTERY CHARGER , SQUARE,TAPE MEASURE 25',3 BOXES CONSTRUCTION SCREWS 350 PER BOX 3",2"1/2"&2",SKIL 7 1/4" ELECTRIC SAW,HAMMER,FLUKE DVM,VARIOUS HAND TOOLS, NEEDLE NOSE,8"PLIERS,18"LEVEL,DIAGONAL CUTTERS, WELL I THINK YOU GET THE IDEAL AND THERE WAS OTHER ITEMS AND I STILL HAD ROOM FOR MUCH MORE. AND THE BAG CAN BE ZIPPED CLOSE WITH A VERY STURDY ZIPPER AND ALSO HAS A SHOULDER SLING THAT IS ADJUSTABLE WITH A SHOULDER PAD TO EASE ANY LOAD YOU MAY BE CARRYING. IT IS REAL STURDY TOOL CARRIER WITH A MOLDED BASE THAT HELPS IT TO KEEP IT SHAPE. I THINK THIS IS ONE TOUGH BAG FOR WHAT EVER ONE CHOSES TO USE IT FOR I THINK IT WILL BE THERE FOR ME YEARS DOWN THE ROAD.

Very heavy duty * I haven’t had it a long time but from the feel of material and big azz zipper, it’ll last a long time. Great quality. A lot of small pockets (screwdriver/ pliers).It is very heavy duty though; It is not a lite bag

The tool bag on Amazon was all black but the one I got was black and tan. Not a big deal but I wanted the all black one. The bag itself is plenty big inside but the pockets are so shallow that they won't hold anything longer than a few inches. So you have to either pile them up on the bottom or put them in the outside pockets. My previous clc bag had a pocket for all of my tools. This way I could take one quick look in my bag and know if I had all of my tools. With this bag I need to rummage around the bottom to find my tools.

The one piece solid plastic bottom is great. I wore out the bottom of other canvas bags because I slide them around job sites and they would get wet when used outside on the wet ground. This tools stay dry and bottom shows little wear.

Excellent tool bag and well built. Definitely worth the money
