Bonide 250 Captain Jack's Deadbug Brew, Ready To Use, 1 Qt

After bringing my herb plants inside last fall, I started losing them to a population of thrips that hitched a ride in. I tried neem, soap water, diatmoaceous earth, but the thrips were really aggressive and none of those worked. I lost half a dozen plants before I bought the Bonide Captain Jack, and it saved the rest of them. I thoroughly sprayed underneath the leaves every 10-14 days which immediately halted their expansion, and by the 6 week or so mark there were no bugs left and I didn't have to use it anymore. I'll be using this from the get go this year.

I can’t even put the petunias and geraniums away yet, they are blooming so profusely!!! An inexperienced gardener.

Easy to use

I had caterpillars & worms ALL OVER my Seminole Pumpkin plant. Lots of caterpillar frass and holes in the leaves. I sprayed Neem & soap but it just wasn't controlling them. I handpicked as many as I could, but they were reproducing faster than I could keep up with. I decided to try this product after researching Spinosad, which is a naturally occurring bacteria discovered in the ferment of an abandoned rum distillery. Two days later there is no evidence of worm activity anywhere!

Upon opening the wrapped plastic on the bottle… I discovered it’s half empty. I don’t know how well it works yet.

I used this with my indoor plants that were taken over by aphids. This didn't help - just plain soap water washing helped my plants. This is a complete waste of my money.
