Does not work as described!
First Tumbler I received did not work at all the Tumbler came on but I believe the motor was already seized up went ahead and sent the first one back and had another one sent out and that Tumbler does not work as described the first batch I tried to tumble the Tumbler would not spin at all so I thought you know what maybe it’s a little too much it wasn’t over 3 pounds it was 2 1/2 pounds I ended up just scaling it down to two rocks which together was less than half a pound and the Tumbler would spin once every 20 revolutions give or take. Would not recommend this product to anyone please do not spend your money on this product.

Annoying out the package
First thing out of the package had to rebuild it due to parts falling off, then getting the canister open is a task in itself, better have some strength, after I get everything together I noticed it super loud. I can run it in my garage and still hear it on the other side of my home. After running for some time the thing isn't really affective. Save your money and buy another brand, as this one doesn't have enough power to really tumble.

Great seller
I originally had issues with the rock tumbler despite it being months since I've purchased it. The seller reached out to me and quickly resolved the issue! The rock tumbler is simple, that's why I like it, and an added benefit is that the seller cares about their customers.

Updated, so added another star
Update 2: after first run for 24 hours, didn’t need the rubber bands. It started sounding squeaky, so I read directions again, forgot to add oil to the drive shaft, so did that, squeaking stopped. It seemed like it was running hot too. So I did what someone else said they did. I removed the metal on top. It’s running much cooler now. I added another star.Update: After reading all low star reviews, got some helpful hints. I unscrewed the bottom, belt was not on, just hanging. So I put it on, and tightened screws, so it’s nice and tight now. Barrel would only roll intermittently, its too smooth so kept slipping. Someone else said they put 3 rubber bands around top, middle and bottom. Works nicely now. So far! Will up date at a later timeSeems as though there’s a missing belt. Rods are not turning, but motor is on. I should have got a refund, and ordered a different one, instead I chose the option of getting a replacement. Now I’m risking getting another, that may not have a belt??? I’ve read others reviews, and seems to be common. I have to drive 40 miles to a ups store to drop it off.I had the barrel all loaded, and was so excited to get started. Such a let down

Legolas Electric Rolls On
Purchased as a Science Project for my 5 yr Grandson. Put it in the shop and let it do it’s thing. Polishing some Rocks and Waiting. Good times with my favorite boy learning stuff every day. Noise level is tolerable but it needs to be in the garage or shop. Easy access to motor and belt.

Worth the money
First, i was worried about the reviews, looked at higher priced ones, same level of stars. So took the chance.Came with the belt off. No biggy, putting it on was a breeze. Worked great. Already burnished a few batches of silver castings. Very happy with purchase!

It'll never hold up
Got my first Tumbler from Leegol. Unboxed it, put in stones with correct grit and fired it up. Within a day it was making a very pronounced thumping noise. I checked the belt for tightness and found it correct although onw of the tightening screws that mounts the motor was stripped out. The small cooling fan inside was also very crooked. I immediately started the return/exchange process as I had read stories of others not getting the return in time. I received a replacement about a week later. As I had 30 days to return the item I thought I'd let it run to see what happened. In about 4 days the loud thumping went mostly away...about 2 weeks later it ate the belt up completely. These SEEM to be heavy duty units...but the workmanship is pretty shoddy. The replacement unit seems to be doing better, but I doubt these will last the years a rock tumbler should.UPDATE: The replacement has been working well for over 2 months. I just replaced the original belt. This isn't surprising as it runs 24/7.I'll be keeping this tumbler.
