Effective and Easy for My Cat to Take!
My cat tends to get hairballs a lot, so I’ve been using Vetoquinol Laxatone, and it’s worked wonders! The tuna flavor is a hit with my cat, and he doesn’t mind taking it at all. The gel helps keep his system clear and prevents hairballs from becoming a problem. It’s easy to apply, and I just squeeze a little onto his paw, and he licks it right off. The 4.25oz size lasts a good while, so it’s a great value. It’s a must-have for any cat owner dealing with hairballs, and I’ll definitely continue using it!

Dog likes taste!
Excellent product, my pup loves the taste! My pup chews his stuffed toys & gets fuzz in his belly. I give him this often, to help safely move this yuk thru his digestive tract! works great!! Got this, from a Vets. recommendation. It’s basically flavored vasoline!Awesome stuff, as I wouldn’t be able to get this down my pup, if it was plain! lolTried the other brands on here, waste of money! Only this one, will my pup eat! Kinda expensive, for a small tube, but it does the job.

Good
My cat loves the flavor and always wants to eat it like a treat. Works well, only had one incidence of vomiting since buying it for a few months.

I give to my cat daily
Im a vet tech, and despite many diagnostics and physical exams, there wasnt a medical issue causing my girl to have frequent hairballs (especially in spring/summer). Vet I worked with recommended this. I give approx a teaspoon mixed into her wet food twice daily in spring/summer and once daily in the colder months. and her hairballs are extremely rare now, and she hasnt experienced other side effects (diarrhea can potentially happen with thus product. she doesnt have any issue eating it in her food and it seems quite effective. I just wish the tube didnt get so messy

Kitty likes to lick? Let them like licking this stuff...
Good for kitty insides. Better for your interior deocr outside. Keeps kitty feeling better with a little delicious slick'um for those unruly fur wads. Cat will likely take it as is with no mixing into food.

Laxatone or hairballs, your choice
If you've never used Laxatone, and you have cats of any hair length, this is a great product to prevent hair balls. If you have a long-haired cat, this is a necessity.I've been using Laxatone for decades (first recommended by my veterinarian), and depending on the cats self-cleaning habits (some cats bathe themselves almost consistently), and hair length, the frequency varies. Since I have a long hair cat, I use it every other day; however, the other cats (short hair) also like the taste of it, and I'll give them a little bit, too. No harm done. The dose is about the size of a pea, so it should be awhile before having to buy another. The directions say to put it on their nose or paw, but in my experience, that just leads to it being flung onto the linens, walls, floors, ect. Most cats don't like their paws or nose messed with. I've found that putting it on the cap, and letting them lick it off is best for all parties involved. I recommend storing the tube upside-down. It's a sticky, thick gel (like thick honey), and when I've stored it right side up, it starts oozing out the moment the cap is removed.Laxatone washes off you with basic soap and water.I've never noticed a smell, but my cats do, and they love it. It must be a mild tuna taste, because even my one cat, who won't eat fish flavored food, wants it.I highly recommend Laxatone for every cat loving home...Or, you can keep cleaning up hacked hair balls, your choice.

So far, so good.
It seems to be doing the job. There haven’t been any hairball vomits. I’ve been following the directions on the package as written.
