This is a general overview of the game L.A. Noire. Released on PS3 and Xbox 360 in May 2011 to plenty of hype and advertisement, it hit the shelves back in the day R* released a game annually (how we long for those days to come back) and mostly met the critics and players expectations. The cutting edge facial tech was a bit awkward but it sort of worked. The open world was a bit sterile bar for the obligatory cake ton of decorative collectibles and 40 street crimes to boot. Many real word brands are in the game, from Lincoln Touring Sedans to the Tucker Torpedo to boxes of Kellogg’s Cornflakes, the devil is in the details when you play through this game - something I believe went overlooked when the game was new. The campaign, with DLC is a meaty length, but was slightly underbaked originally without all the extra content. The game rips majorly from other noires like the Otto Preminger movies, Chinatown and most obviously, LA Confidential, but it’s a video game, so that was forgivable. It is a unique game, as primarily a detective sim of clue finding, suspect interrogating, and the suspect chase sequence. You don’t even have to drive and the bulk of your shooting will come from doing street crimes. People coming from GTA and Red Dead did not expect such a departure but on its own merit, I think it should definitely be considered a 7th gen masterpiece. Worthy of anyone to play, although you may grow bored of the procedural nature of the game as it reaches the end. The final homicide case is a tough puzzle to solve and without an internet guide you’d be hard pushed to solve it yourself.

El juego es espectacular con un ambiente de Los Angeles en los años 40 reproducido con magníficos detalles. Aconsejo ver la historia de los creadores en wikipedia para saber lo que realmente lo que hay detrás de un exitoso videojuego como este.

The product was bought from Pressstart and the product details state: Is Discontinued By Manufacturer : No Rated : Unknown Language : English Manual : English Product Dimensions : 1.7 x 0.1 x 1.4 cm; 80 Grams Release date : 14 Nov. 2017 Subtitles: : English ASIN : B075KGDPVN Item model number : PS423731 The picture of the game on the listing shows a UK release. However as you can see, the game is a Portuguese PEGI version. Despite it playing in English fine, the box and "manual" are all in Portuguese. This is mentioned nowhere on the listing. I personally bought this particular item from this particular listing to have an English version of the game. The shop owners were very nice however, but they did confirm that they only have the Portuguese version. The listing is therefore misleading. The game plays fine however.
