Will this work at 1 ohm?

Keep the power in the recommended ranges. 600w peak 300w RMS I believe is what the specs showed. Make sure your amp is 300w RMS at 2ohms and it will work fine.

I'm running the 2000watt riot single channel with these subs in a ported box should i put them into a enclosed box ?

Ported or enclosure with do perfectly fine with the subs.

What is the best amp for this sub?

The best amp is roughly the amp that would push as much power as possible to the subs without damaging them. A Boss Riot 1500 Watt Amp will suit the best, but don't have the gain level all the way up. I'm using a Boss Riot 1200 Watt, running bridge mode on 2 subs and they pack a punch.

Are these speakers 12 inches across? I have some old maranz speaker boxes that the woofers have gone bad....will these fit?

In not sure the true measurements but I've used 2 boxes made for 12s and they have fit just fine
