Dyson 965663-05 Replacement Extension Wand Tube for Dc59, Dc62 & SV03 V6 Cordless Vacuum Cleaners

This is great! I needed this for just quick vacuuming. I use it with the articulating brush. I need to put it on max in order to get suction with that particular brush. I maybe get 5 minutes of power to do a quick spot vacuum but that is all I need. This wand is saving my back. I am pleased.

I wanted to get a wand for my V6 car + boat so I could use it without bending over. Dyson reps told me no wand was available for that model vacuum and tried to sell me another vacuum. I ordered the wand and it was delivered in just 2 days. I gave it a try. It fits properly and works as it should. I am very happy with the purchase.

This extension tube fits my DC58, even though everything I've ever found online is that no attachments would fit the model Dyson that I purchased from Target back in the day. The best part is that it doesn't need a special attachment to make it work and I can now purchase all sorts of add ons to use my Dyson like one of their Cordless models! Super excited as this has saved me gobs of moolah and hours of work!

Overall, the product fits and works as designed on my Dyson V6 Animal cordless vacuum.There were several less expensive non-Dyson replacement parts for sale elsewhere (eBay), but I paid extra for this part to ensure I was getting a genuine Dyson replacement wand. I don't see anywhere on the packaging or the wand itself that shows it's a genuine Dyson part (no Dyson labeling anywhere).Hopefully this product is of the same quality and holds up.

It's the right one for my model. It LOOKS identical (sans the Dyson logo), but it.does.not.fit.During the exchange (I'll give it ONE more try) I noticed that one of the sellers states, "Doesn't necessarily fit Model DC59" -- which may or may not have been my seller. But... why list the model and then say "it might not fit" -- WTH???VERY disappointing purchase! It comes in a LARGE, BULKY box, which I threw out, and a smaller interior box which will be fine for a UPS drop off -- but KEEP THE BOX until you know if FITS!!SO AGGRAVATING for something so STOOPID.

We lost our originally product and this one has been a great replacement. It's simple enough and you know what you are getting with this product. What really impressed me though was that we eventually found the original and after holding them side by side, they were indistinguishable from each other. They are of course compatible with each other, extend far, and still work nicely.

As with all Dyson products, this is rather expensive,. but also worth it. Works great on my cordless stick vacuum. I'd definitely recommend the original Dyson brand parts.

NOTE: The item arrived with this cute little label.The item works, but nowhere in the description does it say it is used or damaged (dented). Just let me know what I'm getting. "May have some cosmetic imperfections"
