Setup was quick and easy, and within minutes I noticed a big improvement in WiFi coverage, especially in areas where the signal was weak before. This is a great extender. It was very easy to set up and has great range. The only point holding this back from 5 stars was that you have to connect to this extender and didn’t just work as an extension of your network. I didn’t think you would need to be logged into the extender as well as the network in other areas of the house. I thought it would just work invisibly by extending the existing network, but that might be my misunderstanding of how this worked.

Works Like A Charm. It took minutes if that to setup and the ethernet port was an added bonus. It stays cool unlike other extenders and is pretty fast for what I do. Security was a breeze to set up with their app and instructions. Well worth it.

One of my housemates sent me the link for this and told me I could get their wifi password. I was skeptical at first, but after getting it home I was pleasantly surprised. The quality is great. The Wi-Fi signal is strong. To get an idea of it's range, I'm on the another floor on the opposite side of the house and it works great. When I try to just log on to my housemates Wi-Fi on my phone, without the extender, the Wi-Fi is spotty. But with this, I've never had a problem. The security seems to be good. I can plug my ethernet cord right in to it. And it had never overheated. Overall, I was really impressed. Would definitely recommend this product.

In reality, my download speeds dropped by about 50-60% when connected through the extender compared to being near the main router. This worked great. My router combined both 2.4GHz and 5GHz and I used this extender to assist with 2.4GHz. The instructions were easy and it connected to my router with no problem. A couple of my gadgets only needed the 2.4GHz option and this helped connect to them right away and they are no longer dropping on the network. The signal is also stronger because of the extended coverage so that is an added plus. The design is great and I barely notice is it’s there because of the size. I also used this option instead of buying a whole new router which would cost me way more.

Item is of acceptable quality, and the setup process it okay. You can reset it and such, but there is something to be aware of; you don't have to link the product to an account but for security id say you should. Personally, I like it. Its WIFI 5, which isn't much of an issue if you're getting this to extend the range of your wifi to devices within the house, but if you're going to use this for gaming, honestly look for another one with WIFI 6 at the very least. The Heat level I honestly would say depends on whether or not you're using the 2.4GHz range or 5GHz range as the ladder would obviously raise the heat of the product itself. So again, the heat varies depending on which band you use. Speed is as expected of WIFI 5, it's not exactly the best but can you really complain? You can stream well if you use the 5GHz band, and can even do some light gaming if you really want to. Nothing to serious. As for security, it is going to be as secure as the original wifi source is going to be. But they do offer you the choice of a subscription to implement a built in VPN and such, but beyond that nothing too crazy. It uses your wifi's original password, and would show up [Insert wifi name]-5GEXT or EXT for the 2.4GHz band.
