Thick Pick = Heavy Chugs
I recently switched up to thicker picks, finding them in the ranges of 2.0mm to 3.5mm. I have a 2.4mm Jazz II that seems to work best, but I'd put these at a close number 3 in terms of favorite picks. The divots make it easier to hold as they indent to about 2.0mm, so they are comfortable to hold and light. They're sturdy and solid, making for good chugs when riding the Low E or Low B strings.

High quality/Professional picks
started using the other FLow picks a couple years ago- really liked them and never thought I would use a 1.5 or 2mm pick but it just feels right. Saw these a month ago and bought them.. hands down my favorite pick. You dont have to fight with these they fit they are comfortable and they glide over the strings.. Just dont lose them as they are expensive compared to other picks.

Great picks. Improve control
I am a huge fan of this pick. The control is great. You get a nice sharp attack and an easy to hold pick, to keep the riffs coming. These picks keep an edge for more than one session. Depending on your session. But killer picks. Give em a shot. Plenty of thickness sizes to choose as well.

2 MM Flow Guitar Pick
Great pick, The stiffness and sharpness of the point makes it easier to pick faster. FYI the 3MM version is even better. It will definitely improve your playing.

Super great pick. Well made and I'm going to say the best pick I've ever used in the 40+ years I've played.

Gloss is the way to go for clean electric guitar tones
For clean electric guitar tones, these 2.0 mm Gloss picks are the one's to get. And if you want more beef in the low end at the expense of the upper harmonics, or you use thicker strings, then get the 3.0 mm Gloss picks. For clean electric guitar tones, you might as well just get both Gloss picks, and then you won't have to second guess yourself. The clarity of these gloss Flow picks over the standard Flow picks becomes very significant with clean tones, whereas with distorted tones I generally tend to prefer the John Petrucci signature 2.0, or the 2.5 mm standard, or 3.0 mm standard Flow picks.

They don't wear out!
I used to use Stubbys, both the larger standard sized, and the Jazz III sized. The big problem with them is that while they are great brand new and slip across the strings, they wear out super fast. Even a little bit of wear is enough that they don't slip over the strings anymore, and they end up just being regular picks.I tried a handful of boutique picks, including Gravity and a few others. They are great, but pricey. Like starting at TWICE the price of these and going up to 4-5x the price of these. It's hard to justify $8 a pick when they are so easily lost.So I tried these when they came out. First I tried the regular (brown) flow. I liked them, and they didn't wear down, but they didn't slip over the strings as effortlessly as the boutique picks or brand new stubbies. Close, but not quite. Then when the glossy versions came out, I tried those. Perfect! They glide and slip across the strings effortlessly, just like the $8+ boutique picks. They don't seem to ever wear out. And at around $3/pick, you just can't beat them. Plus, they feel thinner than they are too, which is nice.I prefer the red 3.0mm for guitar. For bass, shortscale bass, and sometimes baritone guitar I like the green 4.20mm standard Flow picks, but I'm generally not doing complex, fast picking when I'm using those picks to playing those instruments.I'd like to see these in different shapes so I could experiment with them.
