Duracell - Quantum AA Alkaline Batteries - Long Lasting, All-Purpose Double A Battery for Household and Business - 28 Count

I have used Duracell batteries forever. They are long lasting and I have never has a problem with leakage..ever. The Best!

These batteries are great and I like that I can check the power remaining in them. When I pulled some out last night I checked power and the first pack had almost full power, the second one had about half power, the third had less than that and the last one I checked showed no power. Duracell batteries last 10 years in storage but I think these are older than that. Very disappointing.

Consumer reports ranks them #1 along with the Energizer batterys but cheaper. Sometime these are hard to find.

I've purchased multiple packs of these batteries the past few years from the same vendor and am extremely satisfied with the prompt delivery and condition upon arrival. The batteries are used to power metal detecting and GPS equipment - and normally I get in several 4-6 hour outings before needing to replace them. Before heading out having the ability to check battery life helps me determine if spares are needed. A real plus to avoid hiking back to the car which could be up to a mile away.

Long lasting and have a meter so you can see when they are dead.

Could care less what it cost. This is the best lasting non corrosive battery in the market. We own two Caribbean rental properties and if you know what humidity and ocean corrosion can do to your control remote batteries, you better spend the extra money on these babies.

I assume the manufacturers were not making their money back but I love the self-test feature and cannot understand why the major battery makers stopped making these...I can't find them in West Virginia. Please make the batteries with the self-test feature more readily available. I am paying more than I would at my local Kroger's the reason for the middling 'Value for money' assessment.

These batteries may be QUANTUM. Hard to tell. I put 4 new ones in my Weiser front door auto-lock and they died in 3 days. Made no sense because they self-tested at 100% charge. It may be that the testing label is continuously actived by the battery holder in the door. Either way, I'm not using them for that appilication anymore. Just straight Alkaline.

Works as it's supposed to.
