honestly could not be more a more perfect bag for a basic PPL student. fits headset, logbook and kneeboard snugly in the main pocket, room for pens and a fuel tester on each side with room for additional paperwork or other stuff in the front and back pockets.

I used this an older version of this pubs kit every day for nearly 5 years when flying the T-6/T-38 and again as a T-6 Instructor. That bag was made with quality material and I abused it daily - though I did have to re-stitch it closed several times. It finally gave its last breath in a B-52, and I ordered this as a replacement. The first time this new bag struck a metal edge, it tore a small hole in the fabric on the front. It seems like the newer bags are made with thinner material, and I suspect the sewing work will come apart soon too, like the older version. That being said, this is the best bag that I can find for aviation, so until a worthy competitor hits the market, this will have to do.

The bag works perfect for the two iPad minis that I carry as well as other items. The bag is very durable. Thank you Central Texas Aviation Group. The bag was well worth the wait.
