I didn’t check it but I don’t think so because they are very well made super sharp almost cut my finger, very accurate, great grip. :-)

How do I latch the cape closed around the neck?

The picture of the cape closure at the top of the age clearly shows velcro AND they mention the word Velcro, but you say it does not have a velcro fastener?

Which scissors are preferred for cutting split ends?

The regular plain edge shears will cut all split ends whereas the texturizing pair with cut some but not all of yours split-ends.

Are these forged or cast shears?

Smelly

I purchased this product, for hair cutting purposes. The case that it comes with smells much like a "fertilizer" or "poop"... It's very rancid! Not sure I'll be using this for work, may return.

cheap - looked used...case is poor quality - glue to seal case looked like it had been done by a child...not happy with this....dont bother.

Not really happy with my purchase

The scissors work great and are very sharp. The first time I used the scissors and thinning shears they worked fine. The second time is when the problems began. The thinning shears broke the second time I used them. So, I decided to use the thinning comb that was included...the plastic case popped off and the razor blade fell out. I know that the comb was just an extra, but it came apart as soon as I attempted to thin hair with it. I do like the scissors...so that's why I gave 2 stars. But, as poorly put together as the thinning shears were, the scissors will probably not last too long either. I wouldn't recommend this set, because there are plenty of others on here that are priced the same as this set.
