The light on the switch stays on . How can I fix this issue

Find a wire on headlight connector that powers the low beam and connect the red wire to that it will work if u connect it to battery but if you forget to turn off the fog light when power is off it will drain the battery

Is a light suppose to stay on the switch even tho the vehicle is completely off?

Just had a strange idea. Since the LED light in the switch stays on all the time, you can't tie it in to the positive post on the battery, or you use continuous drain. So, what if you could get rid of that light? Actually, you can. If you very carefully disassemble the plug that goes into the switch you can take out that tiny bulb. Then reassemble the plug and plug it in. Sounds easy, but I gotta feeling I overlooked something in the process. But I put it all back together, mounted the switch, turned it on, and it worked...
