Moeller Clear Coat High Gloss Lacquer 025519 12oz

This is an excellent acrylic lacquer clear coat to apply over the Moeller acrylic lacquer color coat I used on my sterndrive. Do note that this is not going to be compatible with most non-lacquer paints. Spray this over enamel and you'll have quite the mess in no time! The lacquer dries extremely fast and coats quite well. The nozzle is adjustable between horizontal and vertical fan. Being lacquer, it lends itself to quick and easy touch-ups or repairs. Just make sure you wear a high-quality respirator and apply outdoors or in a purpose-built paint booth... lacquer has some seriously nasty stuff in it that you don't want to breathe.

Works very well. Worth the money.

I bought this to seal the arms of my aluminum patio chairs that peeled because of humidity. I sanded the arms, sprayed twice over 2 days, then spray painted twice over 2 days and sprayed sealer twice again. Be sure all is dry between each spraying. It's been a month and no peeling. I read sealer should be applied every 6 months because of what humidity does. This product so far, works.

I feel this paint is better than the OEM Yamaha paint and clearcoat. I tried both. The chemistry and nozzle spray quality is much better, especially for a rattle can.
