The Purple seat cushion is thin about a half inch, I am guessing. It looks like a waffle. I was totally blown away. This Purple seat cushion has taken away pain and discomfort. I have scoliosis. I have tried several other seat cushions and they did not help. It has a case it has handles on both sides. It like a hot dog bun with handles. it travels very well. it is washable. firmness is perfect.value for this product was worth every penny. Amazon had a deal on it, it usually cost around $100.00 or more. I paid around $75.00. Best purchase I ever made. I highly recommend this product.

I am almost 70 years old, I drive city busses for a living. The cushion is better than the other cushions I have used for work. Some of our older busses have really bad seats, the cushion helps a lot.

This is the only thing I've tried that's worked for my coccyx pain. No luck with the donuts or the pillows or the plastic seat cradles. I still experience numbing on coast to coast flights. But, anything shorter is pain-free. It can be folded up and strapped onto a carry-on, but it's fairly heavy and bulky which is probably why it works.

This cushion has provided my aging relative with relief from the uncomfortable wheelchair seat.

This cushion comes with a couple of issues, company tells you that it will melt if left in the car above 105 heat. If it’s 85 degrees the inside of your car will heat up past 105. I personally didn’t like the seat cushion as it felt too soft and to short for someone my height and weight, I’m 6-4 250. The company will charge you 9.00 to return it. Buyer beware.
