I am testing a lot of things and I usually let many things go in my reviews because nothing is perfect. I am not going to complain because a screw knob is a little on the tight side and so on. Nevertheless, this thing has so many little things that I cannot help but nit pick.1. Look at all these types of humidifiers out there and you will find most are around $15 and they work very well.2. It looks great in the pictures, but not up close. It is cheap, really cheap plastic. You have three main parts and all three do not line up. You have the top pyramid on the bottom open stand. That stand is off a bit when you connect it to the top pyramid. You can see that at the corners. Then the container under the pyramid part is not square to the pyramid. For $15 I would probably say it is close enough, but not for $30 like this is.3. These types of misters do not work well with essential oils. After a short time the oil starts to clog the wick and will and does stop working so you need a new wick in there.4. Lastly, this thing is not very good at misting. The flow is below par compared with others that I havetested.To sum up, it will work, but keep shopping. Like Mulder says keep looking “They’re Out There.” Better ones that is.

While this looks amazing on my nightstand, I am very disappointed with the lack of mist output. I don't normally use the built-in light but find I need to temporarily turn it on to see if the mist is actually coming out. Even the Humidity Gauge in my bedroom barely changes after running until empty. Maybe I expected more and I realize this isn't meant for a bedroom but the humidity in my room is almost already at the sweet spot, I just needed something small to run at night while sleeping. Also, the remote control is annoyingly loud.
