Sturdy Build: Made from durable materials, these hooks can handle a decent amount of weight. I haven’t noticed any wobbling or instability, even when carrying heavier items. Cons: Limited Weight Capacity: While they are sturdy, I wouldn’t use them for very heavy items. They’re best for smaller bags or lightweight groceries. Just received mine and immediately went to my 2015 Chrysler Town & Country to install them. I did have to raise the head rest but only less than 1/2 inch. I don't find that much to complain about. They really are a neat item. Easy to slip on the post and very easy to turn for positioning. I like they sit tucked in under the headrest but I chose to let 1 of them sit extended because it doesn't extend out so far as to cause something to get caught on it unintentionally. I put one on each of the front seats. Driver's seat hook faces to the back of the car. I keep my purse on the passenger front seat and always have a problem if I try to get something out of the purse when stopped at a light. Turning the hook toward the front of the car allows me to hook my purse on the hook so it allows the purse to "hang" there. Of course I always keep my doors locked and my windows up (I'm in Florida so A/C is on almost all the time). I can definitely see where these will come in very handy in different situations. I bought a pair in black and one in tan. I placed the tan in my car and the color is exact. The black I will hold because I just know there will come a time when I will be able to use it. I didn't give this 5 stars because I haven't actually used the hooks in the car yet. I'll update once I do.

My purse carries my ingredients for a managed life inside it. So I hang it in a protected area… in the back of my seat hanging on one of these headrest hooks next to a jacket, sweater, etc which covers it. It is usually heavy on my shoulder and I plug in my phone in front and out my pop between the seats. These hooks holds hats, umbrellas, grocery bags, coats, a myriad of can’t do w/os! They attach securely!

I got these four days ago, because I bought a new bag! These are nice to have, but do have some flaws, hence the four star rating. I have a 2014 Subaru Forester. My first issue is that my car is already super compact, so I'm unable to hang my bag on the hook if someone is in the back seat, because it's basically in their lap at that point. Also, the hooks are thicker than I expected, so my headrest is raised about an inch, which, I'm someone who likes neat and orderly, and it just kind of bugs me. These hooks don't feel ridiculously strong, and honestly feel cheapy, but they work okay! My other complaint is that I have a bag that can be worn as a crossbody or satchel. Unless you have a really tall car with an extra tall front seat, you can't really use this with a crossbody bag, because it'll be on the floor, and it negates the hook. I have to use the two arm straps to hang it, and they're pretty thick, maybe 3/4 of an inch in diameter? Both of them together have a really hard time fitting on the hook, so it's not like I can just throw my bag onto the hook and drive, I have to organize the straps so they lay just right and the bag stays on the hook. But, for now, these hooks will serve their purpose!

Work well and seem durable.
