My cat with numerous food allergies and horrible IBD is doing exceptionally well with this and a probiotic in conjunction with diet change. Up in weight about 4 pounds with no vomiting and cramping. He's a happy kitty again.

Seems to help with my dogs’ gut health. They seem to poop faster. So far, I haven’t seen any side effects.

Animal Essentials is a company I trust when choosing human grade and pure products for my dogs. The ingredients lists are always minimal, no fillers or junk ever. I love that they test all of their products for purity. Every product I have tried from this company works incredibly well.I ordered the Healthy Gut to be able to add a clean prebiotic to my pups diet as needed. Healthy Gut passed the sniff test for my mini dachshund and he ate it right up when I added it to his raw food. I tried a taste as well and it is extremely palatable.This product is inulin rich from the chicory root to help it work synergistically with probiotics. Beyond that it contains marshmallow root, funnel seed and yucca root which are all soothing and to the mucosal lining of the gut. I use this and the Animal Essentials Slippery Elm together whenever one of my pups has a bit of gut upset, and it soothes their tummy so quickly.

I ordered Animal Essentials Healthy Gut- First off, I have liked this brand for years now- One of my favourite products to get is the tincture Mushroom Defense, I use this on my pups and kits and has done wonders. I currently have about 7 of their products and really like this company a lot. This particular tincture is focusing on Healthy gut- keeping it in check and adding nutrients and necessities to keep the flora churning healthy. I don't know, kitty doesn't seem any different. I love his integrative vet and having a product with marshmallow in it was prescribed, she felt this was good substitute fo plain marshmallow root since I could not find that on Amazon. I can't tell My cat get's many supplements, etc to control his chronic constipation and IBD. He is doing great on his regime, yet a lot more goes into it then just this product. I don't know if it is healing his gut or not. I like to think so. He's doing so much better now then he was a the conventional medicine doc. So I trust everything she prescribes.

Dogs and cats don't seem to mind this but the unless you know by memory what a dropper holds or use a dropper everyday you have no way of the actual dose you are giving. If something is going to be liquid form to be put in a dropper there needs to be the ML on the actual dose dropper.

I decided to try this for my dogs garbage gut and it relieved his symptoms with just a couple of uses. I will keep this on hand so I can keep him from getting the garbage gut.

I’ve been trying this herbal prebiotic for my dog, but I honestly can’t tell if it’s making a difference. My dog still has diarrhea, though I suspect it’s more related to a food allergy than the product itself. It’s hard to say if the prebiotic is helping or not. I’m not sure if it’s just going to take more time or if the underlying issue is unrelated. It might be worth trying for other dogs, but in our case, we haven’t seen clear results yet.
