The concentrated formula lifts the stains from the carpet, neutralizes odor leaving it clean and smelling fresh. The Fabreze scent is wonderful and the carpet is left so soft and fluffy. If you pretreat with a little of the formula on a stubborn stain it lifts it right out. Works best if you vacuum before shampooing to remove pet hair and protect your shampooer. I also vacuum afterwards when carpet has thoroughly dried. The hose attachment works great on stairs, furniture and stubborn stains. Spot test on furniture first.
