Great to keep emergency supplies in
This is the bag I've been looking for. Rugged durable material. Shoulder straps are decent. Bag closes with rings and clip so you don't have to worry about a zipper getting snagged or broken, Velcro wearing out, or snaps popping off.I'm using it for a "bug out" bag and I easily fit clothes, emergency supplies, a 3 person tent, and a sleeping bag with plenty of room left

New High Quality Military Spec
100% military spec brand new. the bag is slightly stiff since it is new. which is a good thing imo. has a small logo or two on it. i use my military bag everyday and wanted a second better version. i bought this and it met my expectations. if you are debating getting a refurbished military bag i largely suggest you buy this instead.edit: after owning my bag for more than 2 years I stand by my statement. I own several refurbished military bags, but I prefer this one as it came new. I carry 100+ lbs in this bag regularly with no issues. I respect my property, but I'm not exactly gentle with it. I take a few weeks worth of groceries in one haul up to my second story in this bag regularly. I do my laundry from this bag. I shove car parts, motorcycle parts, tools, anything...All the time. I use this bag for motorcycling. If you want a half pack you can run a loop under the backpack straps. It's not safe aerodynamically to carry a full pack cycling, but I do it all the time...buy the bag you won't regret it.

Mounted on an external freight backpack frame.
This is tough stuff. I wanted a good open top stuff sack. I coupled this with the alpz commander external frame freight carrier and it cinched in snug and tight. The cordura is tough stuff and would withstand a great amount of abuse - similar to the same product I was issued USGI. The multi-cam/OCP coloration on my amazon-bought sack is pleasing to the eye as well. I added a water proof 55L camping/boating bag inside and was good to go all-weather. Stuffed full, the 55L only filled up 3/4 of this cordura stuff sack. The shoulder straps are of tough nylon and steel. I threw in a 5 gal bucket for extra stowage and "modularity" to add some cubic inches if needed. I could carry 100lbs plus with this setup no problem.

Good Stuff, great travel companion.
Nice bag. I use a Military issue duffel to protect all of the delicate plastic snaps, buckles, hanging straps, zippers etc. on my lightweight trekking style backpack from airport bag handling machinery when I travel. The lockable openings of these bags provide your belongings protection against pilferage from people who may be getting paid to handle your bag out of sight on buses, boats, trains etc. or have access to your room while you are out. Of course any razor blade will slice through Cordura easily, but plausible deniability is lost, and most would-be pilferers value their jobs and would rather not run the risk of dealing with the local police. These bags also make great emergency souvenir carriers when you buy too much abroad, and they function well as a leave-behind-at-the-hotel gear reservoir for non-essential items you may not want on your back during an extended trek. I purchased this one for my wife's backpack and ended up swapping with her and keeping it for myself. It appears a tiny bit larger than my mil-spec duffel (swallows my 70L Osprey backpack easily) and while well-made and almost identical to my military issue duffel, the stitch points on the straps appear to be a little weaker. It will take some time to evaluate this potential issue, but my overall impression of build quality and durability is just a wee-bit below my US Military issue duffle. So far the bag has weathered one grueling trip to Mongolia well and seems like it will perform admirably for years to come.

Excellent
Perfect just as described and exceeded my expectations.

Solid military style duffle for a reasonable price.
I bought this to haul my extremely thick and heavy chest waders down to the river for duck hunting so I don't have the wear the cumbersome things during a 20 minute walk through the desert. It holds those plus other gear with plenty of room to spare and seems to be pretty durable so far. Not necessarily as thick or heavy duty as the real thing, but a very reasonable price for a new product.

Good bag, I'd recommend it.
This is a massive bag. For reference, the opening is about the size of a toilet bowl, and it's that width all the way down to the bottom. I'd recommend loading your heavier stuff into the bottom of the bag, and putting the lighter stuff on top for convenience in transit, and putting the stuff you need to grab near the top, otherwise you'll have to dig everything out to find your one thing. After a few months of continuous abuse, one of the metal o-rings on the top fell out. The bag still works, and still closes either way.

The right bag for the apocalypse.
I love this bag so much, I bought a second one. Super strong and light, it'll probably live longer than I will. Yes, you might find cheaper alternatives, like canvas military surplus bags with the same dimensions, but nylon is lighter, stronger, and doesn't absorb moisture like cotton does, and you don't have to worry about build quality and condition with a brand spankin' new Hank's bag. They have less expensive one-color bags too (I love multicam, but I'm not convinced that it was worth the extra money...but that's just a matter of taste). Buy it, abuse it, love it.
