When taking pictures with my pocket camera, I kept accidently pushing the buttons on the camera when handling it. I wanted a sturdy handle that I could attach the camera to. but not be big and bulky. This did the trick. I bent the handle in a bit to get my finger closer to the shutter button and removed the lower accessory mount. The top mound I use to hold a little LED camera light. Price was right, too!

While I love the functionality of this Camera Grip Bracket I am less than 100% satisfied with the chemical smell that the fake leather grip gives off. Perhaps it is a byproduct of the type of rubber they used, but the grip is great, the functionality is great, it is just the smell that irks me a bit. I would like to see one of these with real leather, which would eliminate the bad chemical smell. I was in the middle of being filmed during a session with my Guru and he said the smell kept taking him out of the experience.

It is a great stable external base for an Speedlite. The piece, that itself, is sturdily made and works well as a second grip.

Exactly what I needed.

it is what it is. the screw mount that comes attached can NOT be flipped over to use the handle upside down. the way the grip is made the flash/mic only fit in the shoe the way shown on the picture so you can't use it turned 90 degrees either.

Good solid materials and construction. Has a hefty feel. You won't worry about hanging on to your $3,000 camera with this grip.

Thumb screw a little hard to tighten but all else just fine.
