Is this a quality product or is this one of those overseas products that are all over Amazon?

These are made by Wm. Smith & Son in Redditch, England, so technically an overseas product. It's well-made for light use. If you mend sails day in and day out, you will want to spend more for a high quality seaming or roping palm. If you need something for all-day, every-day use, look for Wm Smith & Son's #15 or #16 palms. You'll recognize them by their black varnish. They take a few weeks to fully form to your hand, but customers tell me they're worth it. If you need something for occasional use maintaining sails or doing other heavy sewing (repairing backpacks, etc.), these adjustable palms are great. We also have Wm Smith & Son sailmakers' sewing needles in stock, if you're looking for those. Hope this helps!

Sorry to say that I think we don't have a palm that will fit your hand.

Are these sized only for men? Looks large, 1 person complained that parts wont fit where they should for women.

Thanks for your question. I think it probably is sized for men, originally. However, the adjustability allows you to size it down to a much smaller palm.
