Worst seller and tent
My tent got delivered defective with the wrong connective piece for the pole. Not only was the tent not able to be assembled but the seller took 6/7 weeks to issue the refund and which I had to pay delivery costs. I would not risk buying this tent as although it is Vango these tents must be from the off batches. Seller is the worst I’ve seen 3 years on Amazon with a poor item avoid this seller.

Cheap but lightweight and sturdy
I got this in a sale for £30 at ,y local garden centre and thought it was worth a punt. I've now used it for 6 nights wild country backpacking in the Scottish Highlands. I haven't had any extreme weather but we did get some rain and wind on one night and the tent just shrugged it off with no issues.I like the dark material of the inner, it helps you sleep during the light summer nights. It weighs about 2kg which is good for a sub £100 tent and as usual two people sharing would need to be very good friends! but for one there is lots of room, although I need the full length for my 6 foot frame. The groundsheet is very thick and solid, no need for a footprint. The pegs are the usual wire affairs so I replaced them with Y section lightweight ones plus a couple of bigger V profiles in case of stronger winds. There are only 3 negatives for me:1) I'm always nervous of fibreglass poles in wind but so far no problems and it does come with repair sleeve if a pole does give way.2) It pitches inner first which is a big problem in very wet weather. I much prefer outer-first pitching.3) It is a little bit bulky, especially with the supplied stuff sack (which is, however, easy to pack!) But if you split it into smaller separate bags it's not too bad.I've included some shots of it in use (the Soul is the orange one!).
