Excellent little camera!
If you’re new to action cameras like me and want to film adventures on a budget, the Apexcam M80 AIR 4K Action Camera is really brilliant! It’s easy to use, packed with accessories, and great value. I love using it for bike rides and seaside trips. The box is full of gear—helmet and bike mounts, a waterproof case, a wrist remote, two batteries, and a carrying case. I won’t use everything, but the waterproof case is fantastic for filming in the sea. Setup was simple: I popped in my 64GB memory card, and it was ready in seconds. The clear screen and buttons are so easy, I skipped the manual.I’ve filmed cycling, kayaking, and snorkelling. The threaded mount lets me attach it to my helmet or bike, staying secure for exciting shots. The 4K videos are clear and colourful—way better than my phone—perfect for sharing. Photos are good too.The WiFi and app are handy. I connect to my phone to view shots or share clips quickly. The wrist remote is great for starting recordings while cycling (not for use underwater!). The batteries last about an hour each, and with two, I’m set for a day. Charging is easy, though swapping batteries resets the date, which is a small bother. It’s small, tough, and survives drops. The waterproof case is reliable in rain. For the price, it’s a steal, making my videos look impressive. If you’re a beginner, this camera is a fantastic, fun choice!

A really good camera for the money
I bought this camera because I wanted one that is fairly simple to use and could be adapted for wearing so that I could video my dog when we are out walking, for training purposes. A big plus is that the camera comes with a proper printed instruction manual in my language, which meant I could quickly work out what the buttons are for, how the settings menus work, the different options for video resolution and frame rate and how to transfer video files to my laptop. This meant it was easy to set up and I was soon able to capture videos and photos. Another big plus is that it comes with 2 batteries, which can be charged in an external double charging dock using the supplied USB cable. It is also possible to charge a battery whilst it is inserted in the camera. The camera comes in a good case and with a very good range of accessories, including an effective waterproof case. The kit does not come with a micro SD card, and you need a 64 GB class 10 card. Battery life is OK, but I can't comment fully as the batteries haven't been through many charging cycles and are not yet operating at full capacity - at the moment I'm getting about 80 minutes recording 4K resolution, 30 frames per second video. Quality of the videos is very good, particularly when recorded at 4K - no skipping or jumping. Audio is only OK when the camera is not in its waterproof case. Finally, as others have reported the time and date stamp function does tend to reset itself to factory settings if the battery is out of the camera for more than a minute or 2 - annoying, but its not hard to adjust the settings. Overall, I think it's pretty good value for money.

Lots of accessories!
Apex 4K action camera and accessories:The item arrived today, so I've not had much time to try different environments. The case organises things very well, and is well made. There is what looks like a wrist strap, but it's too small for that, so it's a handle. There are more accessories than I realised, including an external microphone. In the picture, this looks like it connects via a 3.5mm jack, but it's actually USB-C, so can also be used on my mobile phone – excellent! The remote control will be very useful as I want to mount the camera on the front of my kayak, but won't be able to reach it. There is a battery in the remote control, plus a spare! The battery charger doubles as a battery storage case. Two things to note:- The lens is wide angle so things near the edge of the video frame will appear curved. This is demonstrated in the image provided on the listing.- The hardcopy manual is just a QR code to download the actual manual digitally. I prefer digital as I can have it on my phone, and with me at all times. There are many options for the camera settings, and it will need time and experience to get the best results, so no verdict on the image quality at this time.

Very grainy picture. Recording initiation or continuation problems.
I bought his reading; how wonderful the reviews were! Then it seemed like a brilliant value item to buy. However, on receiving it, the quality of the picture was very, very grainy, like being on a first-generation smartphone from 15 years ago. And it would have problems in recording, starting, and continuing; sometimes it would auto-stop.Then there was trouble in terms of connecting it to your Windows Microsoft laptop with Windows 11 to transfer the files; sometimes there will be no files despite being recorded, or there would be files, but it's only showing some of the recordings that were done. It's a very nice size. Some of the accessories were missing, and the design is nice.Customer support was zero inside; there was no choice between the items straightaway.

Picture good, action not
This camera is like alot of the cheap action cameras littered on selling platforms, i wasn't looking for the premium action cameras but one like this. It functions like most, if you tried Wolfang etc this camera interface and button layout is much the same, as are the features, this camera however lacks one of the main features for this to even be considered an action camera and that is stabilisation, you will need some sort of gimbal because the screen jitters very bad. I think where this camera should be considered is what you intend to use it for, it won't be running around, this would be a cheap ideal stationary camera on a tripod, it's picture quality was surprisingly good, the video quality is usable. Would i recommend this for holidays and adventures on the move, no, is it usable for youtube making in your bedroom, yes. The battery life on these cameras is not the best and the sound quality of these would require the mic being plugged in otherwise its average at best. For me i would say this merits 2.5 stars and not 3.
