Q: If I only have one original key I have to go to a dealer to be programmed?

I only had one key. I took it to my dealer and they charged me $63 to program two key fobs and cut and program the two keys. Nobody else would program the keys were I live.

Q: will this work in a 2008 maza 3 with 40 bit encryption if not what key do i need

This is not compatible with 2008 Mazda 3.
